I think Pjaca is the Cuadrado replacement, I don't think we'll get Cuadrado now. Pjaca seems to be unpredictable enough.
Yea sure, but I don't think it hurts us to have two wingers on the roster, seeing how strong the fullbacks are now. That apart, I maybe in a minority here, but I think Pjaca has the ability to be a hybrid CF. Cuadrado also is a loan at this point so there is no immediate outlay to affect our other priorities. Just a gut he could be handy.

So does Pjanic, to be fair. He's not as athletic as the other two, but he has that Pirlo-esque ability to turn a match out of nowhere with a sublime long ball, free kick, through ball, etc.
Yes and no, coz zPjanic has the vision, but he's a bit more static. Cuadrado has that pace and ability to run at defenses, and create important off the ball movement that Pogba gave us. Pjanic will improve us in a different way.

Please Beppe get this guy, please!!!

He was joining Napoli earlier in the mercato. It fell through for some reason. Anyone know what the rumoured price was at the time? I'm sure they will go big at us when they see Pogba money.

I think it was between 25-30 million.

The difference with us though is that we have a good relationship with Porto after the Alex Sandro deal

If Pogba leaves for 125M, than along with the 30M we got from Morata's sale, we've recieved 155M total. If we do sign Higuain for 95M, than along with Pjanic (32M), Benatia (3M) and Pjaca (22M), We've spent 153M. Which means we profited 2M. If we sell Pereyra (18M) and Zaza (30M), we could spend another 50M and that's without investing a dime. I think it's more than realistic to invest 20-30M in addition to those 50M, so we could both get a nice Zaza replacemant and a real quality CM.

We need two more mids IMO. Because I do see a couple more off our roster leave. Two of Hernanes, Lemina, Perreyra. I think Asabob is going to stay.

25-30m, great value for money, but they'll want a premium if they know we have cash to burn. 40m probably? Just seriously hope we get this guy. More an Arturo replacement, if ever there was one, besides Naingollan.

We should get Matic (DM) and Herrera (CM)

Pjanic-Matic-Herrera until Marchisio is back. Then Marchisio will rotate with Matic. Khedira will rotate with Herrera.

That would be pretty solid. Not as good as Pogba-Marchisio-Vidal but pretty good.

Solid midfield, but nowhere close to what we potentially have with Pogba around. Best mid in the world between him, zPjanic and Marchisio. Anyway, that said, the other worrying factor is that the midfield we are discussing will also be completely revamped. A bit too risky to put together as the engine of the team around it, since they will need to understand the movement around them. They would need more than a month of preseason to gel together. Especially since Matic and Herrera are coming from different leagues too. Fucking Beppe please, make Herrera happen. :tuttosport:

Not bothered who replaces him tbf, as long as they're cheap. We just need the depthdhtdh in case of injuries/fatigue.

If Zaza leaves and no Italian striker comes in, will this be the 1st time in history that Juventus has not one single italian striker in the team? I don't like that, hope Zaza stays
Italian strikers suck fat dick though. The very best Italy has to offer couldn't lace Dybalas boots.
