Well the time has come. We have so much money, influence and appeal that we can bring in any Serie A player.

Now we are ready to win the CL.

Wanda: 'Juve bid €50m for Icardi'
By Football Italia staff

Wanda Nara claims “Atletico Madrid, Tottenham, Arsenal, Roma and Napoli came forward for Mauro Icardi, Juventus offered Inter €50m.”

She is his wife and became his agent last year, but is causing waves with a series of explosive interviews.

“People try to make me look like some crazy agent. There are many offers for him, but it’s not my job to negotiate with other clubs. My role is to discuss Mauro’s contract,” she told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

“I do know that Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and Arsenal came forward. Now there are Roma and Napoli in there too.

“Last week the Juventus director of sport Fabio Paratici met with (Inter chief Piero) Ausilio and asked for Icardi, offering an important sum, over €50m. Then they’ll say it isn’t true, but that’s what happened: I don’t tell lies.”

Having criticised Ausilio repeatedly, Wanda now intends to go over his head to Suning Group.

“I will speak to the Chinese owners as soon as I get the chance. They don’t want to sell Icardi. He is a symbol, the fact of Inter. It’s like Paul Pogba for Juve.

“Why do they not want to give him what he was promised? Words mean more than a contract. Mauro was called in by (Vice-President Javier) Zanetti and told him not to worry, that things would get sorted out. I know he’ll do everything possible to keep him.

“Mauro has enormous strength and character. He doesn’t want to leave, he’d happily stay at Inter for life. However, we need clarity and respect for the promises made.

“The fans are not stupid and I am not some crazy person who just comes out with this stuff for no reason.

“If Mauro is worth €50-60m, then he deserves better wages. Promises must be kept.”

give them Pereyra, Zaza, 12 mil in 6 installments and 3 cartons of Marlboros for Sarri
Please no. I want to always remember him with that goal, and seeing him in Napoli jersey won't help

Not that we'll be getting either short of one of those fairy tale exor cash injections finally coming around again but i'd prefer Higuain over Cavani.

Imo his all round play is better and these days he's just as deadly in the final 3rd. Plus he's already crushing the exact same opposition he'll be facing with us. Plus it weakens Napoli which is always a good laugh.

Cavani played with Hamsik,Lavezzi,Pandev.(the good years of Lavezzi and Pandev)
Higuain played with Hamsik,Insigne,Callejon.

Not sure,pretty much the same.
Yeah. Cavani arguably has a better mentality though. I'll always remember, I believe it was during Conte's second season, they were trying to stay within reaching distance of us and Campagnaro scored that wonder goal around the 90th minute to only TIE the game when they needed to win. Cavani ran and grabbed the ball from the back of the net and was reaching the midfield circle and when he turned around the whole team was celebrating like if they had won the world cup. Cavani looked pissed off.

well if some girl from a rival club says we offered 50m don't you think that is ridiculous enough to say "yeah, no we didn't".
Maybe. But what do you gain by forcing her hand? If they are destroying themselves, I would not day anything if my silence intensifies the situation.
I just can't see how Beppe 'the penny pincher' Marotta, the one who chased Draxler one whole summer and refused to go above 30, bid 50m all of a sudden for a player like Icardi.

Well he might be the tightest son'bitch in the world with the clubs money but we're potentially 2 strikers light and we don't have ages to piss around. Draxler was a luxury, a new top striker is not a luxury. It's a necessity.

Was probably valued at 50m (something like 30m Plus a player or something). Who knows.

I'd take one of Icardi or Higuain any day of the week.

People would refuse two top capocannoniere players

Higuain is great but I can't see us spending 80m on a 29 yo
Icardi is a good player, but he has Wanda as his agent, and also had a bad season. Spending 50m on a player who had a bad season is not Beppe's style IMO

Offer 45-50m plus Pereyra. He wants to go there anyways according to his agent.

And all of Inter had a bad season. He is still really young.
