On footballing level I could care less about his personal life (tho he is a douche for that incident) since it doesn't effect his football. Only thing I care about is that he is a limited poacher, very effective one but limited. Offers nothing but finishing.

I rather sign most other options over him for that reason. Even Lukaku offers more in general play.
Icardi is only a scumbag in that incident because we have no clue what it was that made things go this way and just take the most obvious story as it is. Who knows what really happened between that Wanda whore and Maxi, maybe Maxi is the scum in all of this. Icardi is stupid though, if he thinks she's the best he can get

Juve have the money but somehow i doubt it happens. I feel we want to continue with the policy of bringing highly rated youngsters (or potential bargain transfers) and build them into star players. Hard to find a bargain in the CF market which is quite scarce relatively speaking.

:D

We will offer 18 ml tomorrow apparently. Di Marzio. @brazilians, I know he is a talent but how good?
He's good but he act like he's the next Neymar and is nowhere near as talented as he think he is. My main problem with him is his attitude. Kinda like Felipe Melo, really annoying and dumb player, should get more red cards than he actually gets.

Anyway, 18M isn't that much nowadays so if we bought him for that much we probably wouldn't have a big loss if we decide to sell him later as he's young and is being called to Brazil nt

That's probably why we are looking at the SA market, you can buy their top players typically for <€25m. In Europe it's more like €40m starting price now.

I see where you're coming from, but I'd take this guy ANY day over Lukaku. He is pretty much a 1 goal in every 2 games striker in the toughest and strongest defensive league in Europe. That is insane for a 23 year old player. The beauty is, with a player like him, all we'd need him to do is finish off chances, which we sometiems struggle with (other than Dybala)

With supply coming from Dybala, Sandro, Alves, Pjanic, Pogba etc...he'd work here and I can see why we'd be interested. But will never happen.
I don't know about that, Lukaku isn't as one dimensional as icardi, I still think Lukaku has more scope for improvement and adding to his game more so than Icardi. I think the important thing to look at is to look at their link up play, although Lukaku didn't show it in odd game for Belgium, his link up play is better than Icardi's imo

    Gabigol is an SS ?

Can this guy realistically take over from Mandzukic in the future ?
Who knows, he has good physique to grow into CF (still a teen). But who knows how he will develop, positionally he seems like primarily a wing forward SS, kind that drifts wide in 3 man attack then play centrally in 2 man attack. If we sign him would be curious to see if he can function well with Dybala.

The other Gabriel strikes me as closer to nr 9 natural CF instinctive player besides being all around SS wing hybrid too.

Would be odd to sell Zaza and lose Morata and sign Pjaca and Gabigol goal tho. Unless our coach sees CF potential in them it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, just going for both Pjaca and gabigol as 2 new forwards, where both are more SS/wingers sounds like a bad idea.
    If Zaza leaving,CF must arrive.

He has been growing as a player in the last couple of years, leaving Utd has done him well, and even before that you could see him doing stuff he wouldn't usually do. Not a poacher anymore, I'm not saying he's a striker like Suarez who can provide for himself, but he has added to his build up and his play in general.

Barbosa is a Morata kind of player - I wouldnt call him a support striker but he is not a pure striker as well
I do see him as a possible striker
