I never said we should field a 3 man defense.

And I'll say it once more :D Bonucci is not worth the price. It's like rejecting 500mln for Pogba. He might be good but everyone has a price, let alone a rip off.
A 3 man defense has brought us many titles. Why ditch that? Bonucci is a fundamental reason for that.

Oh yes you can. There are only some who were shaped to stay in a club. Nobody expected Raul to leave Real Madrid.

It's like people think that players play for free for their clubs. They earn millions and they are settled.

I'd rather be successful.
I'm sorry, but you are clueless. We are already successful with what we have. Why change for the sake of it? Plus as someone else said, you can't buy loyalty these days. Bonucci is here to stay, and both the player and the club know that.

3 man defense has not been the only formation we played.

Funny you classify yourself like somebody who knows better.

And btw, after we won things we sold both Vidal and Tevez who were most likely our best players. But apparently you forgot about that or chose to ignore it.

Totally different situations. Tevez wanted to leave and we had already brought his replacement while Vidal's antics off the pitch became ungovernable.

3-5-2 certainly wasnt the only formation but it has been the most succesful and the one we have most frequently used. I for one am excited to see how it will look with Alves-Sandro on the flanks. But Bonucci's ball playing skills are essential.

Vidal wasn't even among our top 2 best midfielders but Tevez certainly was the best or at least split first place.

So 60M from bonucci and 120M from pogba. 200M for :beppe: spending spree
No thanks. We don't need many changes to win the CL.

What exactly? I don't remember any user wanting Vidal out because of some crappy thing he pulled.

There are also reasons but we also lost Morata.

Point being: you never know. I don't think we're gonna ignore astronomic bids. But don't get me wrong, no, I don't think we're a seller club. We never were like that. But even in our history we were selling big player, even Zidane.

We obviously dont sell players that want to stay. Zidane wanted to leave and he was 29 yo that left for the world record fee. The money currently isnt an issue for us otherwise Pogba would already be someplace else.

As for Vidal, DUI, reports that he frequently visited night clubs, didnt play well that season and was approaching the age where considering his style of play he was about to decline.

What? That makes absolutely zero sense.

Vidal in his first season was getting his chances from the bench and he made an instant impact. Every given chance he was a real beast and absolutely great.

In his second year he had 26 goal+assist which made him our most effective player in the season. In his third year he had 23 goal+assist where he was only behind Carlitos.

Money also wasn't an issue back then, yet we sold him. And Bonucci is also 29 at the moment. It wouldn't be the world record fee but we'd get double the value most likely.

In his 4th year he showed signs of declining and both Marchisio and Pogba were better than him. Arguably Pirlo too

That was not a reason to sell him.

Majority of players went through something like that. Even Del Piero, Nedved, Camo and others. But you can't sell because of a minor decline after 3 amazing seasons.

The reason to sell him was because he wanted out. I only agreed with il brutto that we had 2 better mids when we sold him

Yeah but those players you've mentioned never caused incidents off the pitch. We have seen again in Caceres' case that DUI is not tolerated here.

So only last 6 months count? We're ignoring previous seasons when the guy carried our ass to the top? He gave us that Conte mentality and was a fundemental player.

I'm really sick how majority fans ignore things when players leave and pretend how the move made total sense just because Juventus can't do wrong. Or they just make up excuses or read TS saying how he went out drinking, that's a reason to sell. Same goes for coaches. Pathetic.

But Caceres is still here?

Of course, during his Juve career he was immense but the last season was disappointing and both Marchisio and Pogba were easily better.

He is?

Dude, you sound very bitter and cynical right now. The sun will come out eventually. :rab:
