People are expecting/wanting way too many moves but we should not make a complete overhaul of the team again this summer.

We just need to make 3-4 new signings and we are set. This team was build last summer now it's time to fine-tune it rather than break it.

well 15% of 38 is 5.7.

So give them 32 million and we're done.

Or Zaza plus 2 million. :alen:
You do understand the problem in your calculation right?!
32M 15% is 4.8M so they basically get 27.2 that way...
The only way it would be worth it for them is to lower the fee but include players in return for example Zaza+2M like the last thing you mentioned...
Zaza+4M for example would give them the option to sell Zaza for 30M and with the added 4M they get 34M which is higher than the 32M they would be getting for themselves (they could also use him themselves)

Damn didn't see the Darmian move coming. Sell licht to replace with him and alves...damn

Pjanic
Alves
Kovacic
Darmian
Berardi

Pfffffft
You're forgetting the homegrown additions of Mirante and Marrone to go with. Very solid mercato, although I'd add Benatia to that list because I see it as a realistic acquisition. Kovacic and Benatia both on loan deals.

That would not break it because the backbone is already there. Our starters in attack are the same. Our midfield is also the same apart from the injured marchisio while our defense would have a new RB. Last time around we changed the team's backbone with Pirlo and Vidal leaving the midfield and Tevez and llorente leaving the attack. This time we are adding bonus peaces to the structure that already exists.

Btw if we do get pjanic and Kovacic, I expect Juve to play more offensive football scoring 3-5 goals regularly. We would be extremely good in possession with Pjanic, Pogba and Marchisio/khedira/Kova on the pitch.

Why on earth would anyone pay the release clause if Roma is willing to sell him for less?

Tuttosport has a headline of Mourinho pushing Darmian out to Juventus.

Lose Cuadrado, sell Lichtsteiner...

Replace with Alves and Darmian...

:weee:
32 million or 38 million offer is not different for roma.
but for pjanic, it is really different. 6 million is a lot for player.
pjanic could refuse a move if buyer do not want to pay release clause.
6 million difference is easy for rich club
Yes because we're to give him poverty wages

Just stahhp

Darmian in Licht out

Dream move
did you mean PSG, Beyern and another rich club can not give him poverty wages? :D
just my opinion. because marotta's history, i do not think it will happen.

Disturbing the team dynamics too much is not what improves us. We have a good thing going on and removing good personalities from the changing room will only backfire. We need some added quality I agree but not at the expense of losing chemistry.

He should win a scudetto before he leaves Serie A. Juve is the only way

Moving from Roma to Juventus is not an easy decision. I have my doubts about Pjanic's willingness to make the move here.
Is it really that bad? Viola or Inter I can understand, but why Roma? The only thing I can see is Roma fans dont want be seen as feeder club for us.
Other than that we already did some bussiness with them in the past (like Vucinic). Its really stupid its so hard to deal with most of the major teams in Italy because they supporters hate us. Sometimes I think they would prefer to sell their player abroad for half of the sum we offer.

Don't think Palotta really cares about the Italian tradition of hating on opponents. He's a business man and a gentleman. Open the Pjanic thread! :tuttosport:

it's not just because of supporter. it's because now player can move abroad or have another and better option
better salary and not gonna meet with roma fans.
if i were pjanic, i would move abroad and get better salary + extra 6 million.

Their fans probably hate us more than they hate Lazio.
