Danilo was RB, came on for Carvajal, got molested by Carrasco...
Whatever

Both Carvajal and Danilo did nothing offensively against Felipe Luiz. When he went off, suddenly Danilo started to be all over the place offensively

Carrasco was molesting whatever player closed him down, not just Danilo

If we had a chance for Danilo, we wouldnt have signed Alves. We signed him cause there isnt a talent worth investing in, and Danilo was not possible.
People need to remember how good this team is. If we sign a young player, he needs to have the talent to fight for a place in the team in the future, nothing less.

One thing i noticed in the CL final. Felipe Luiz, is an amazingly good, and incredibly underrated fullback. When he went off, suddenly Danilo was all over the place.

Dont hope for Danilo for now, he could very well be on the way back
Danilo.

I'd take a 35 y.o. Alves or Licht ahead of him any day.

Hey, how will the new FIGC rules effect the mercato - squad limit of 25 players with 4 raised in Italy and 4 from youth academy. First 4 is easy, second 4 is hard as only Marchisio fits that bill. We currently have 25 first team players. That means based on current squad, we would need to have only 22 players unless we promote a lot of primavera players. So if you think we can bring in 3-4 players, we may need to sell at least more than that to meet the new requirements right?

Mirante & Pol Lirola makes 2 more. Then a fourth... But we will need to sell more than we'll buy, yes. Caceres is already gone.

What a bullshit rule. Doesn't help, doesn't improve the national team and only makes things more complicated. Same with that unnecessary non-eu players rule. Ironically both Spain and Germany have less regulations, yet somehow do a much better job developing youth-players. Those regulations are just done to do something, acts of cluelessness by the federation/league.

After the destruction by Carrasco in the CL final, I don't want Danilo. I have never seen such tricks and flicks done in a CL final...Carrasco was miles in front of him, while he couldn't do much against Carvajal!
We are not going for James either, but for the life of me I do not understand why people see Mascherano as the best DM in the world and especially for our system build around the similar player 'Pirlo' ?
We have 3 proper defenders, 2 wide players that are more skilled in defense than offense (hence they play usually with 2 defenders in a 4 unit) and now lets do a proper block of 6 really defensive players by putting Mascherano in the middle?! Pogba and Dybala would be picking up the ball from the middle of the field?

I'd rather see Kroos in that DM position.

Well i guess from the current squad we'll have to sell/cut at least 7 players if want to add few new players.
Caceres,Morata,Cuadrado,Asamoah,Pereyra.

Mirante will come for Neto.
5 arrivals: Alves, AM/CM, CM/DM/CB/Mascherano, Berardi, CF.

But:
- we need to get in another 2 HG players...someone else will have to go?maybe on a loan?
wow that's really BS.
- we have players coming from loans like: DC,Isla,Cerri,Marrone.
- Mandragora will go on loan i guess.

Mandragora is staying with the first club, at least until the winter transfer window. Marotta confirmed this yesterday.

@ADP1113: Marotta "Mandragora is injured but once he recovers he'll stay with us at least for the first part of the season."

I guess what he means is until Marchisio gets fit. This new homegrown rule also means that Mandragora won't count against the allotted number of players, considering that he is U21 (and will be for 2-3 more seasons).

I admit I`m a fan of Carrasco - its not the flicks and tricks but I think he is brilliant and can be very useful - But there are also other players who I rate like Saul
Atletico is the prefect example for a team that know how to take advantage of the market and pick future stars!
Carrasco Saul Falcao (might be nothing now but he was extraordinary for them) Aguero and getting Torres back which he might not be WC anymore but it was a great opportunity which was taken
They also know who to get defenders!
Their choices now are better than ever! I do think they have reached their maximum potential as a team though as without serious money invested in present stars I do not see them getting that extra level!
The money spending issue was Conte`s claim and now apparently Simeone! It can be done without spending those crazy sums but it is by far more difficult to do so as you need to keep your stars from tempting to move to those crazy spending teams!

As for Morata he is as good as gone after what FI reported (seems to me like he is quite ungrateful as he can prefer Real but should say its Real or Juve dont want anything else)
So the question is who are we getting instead - Batshuayi Cavani Lacazzete? My money goes on Batshuayi

If Simeone leaves Atlético Madrid we might try to get a few wide players from there?:shifty:
I am disappointed in Morata as well, but he is still the CF I want to stay. Fuck this - I am addicted. :ghey:
