 We have a great squad already if we can keep everyone here. Adding someone like Pjanic would only be a huge plus but can cope without if it turns out impossible.
Exactly. We should still get Berardi though for some firepower from the bench in CL. Other than that I don't really care if everyone else stays

I hope you're wrong and we can add Pjanic while not losing them but you're right, chances are bigger they will leave
I hope I'm wrong as well since I love both players. Imo Morata has a better chance of staying than Cuadrado who is Conte's wet dream... either way, Pjanic and a RB should be signed. No fucking andre gomes please, let's just dodge that bullet.

I think Morata could stay but for a fee of 20-25 extra. We get 30 mil from the Coman deal and plus spend another 40 mil and we should be set. We do need to have some players leave and maybe sell Zaza if the money comes for him. This could be a really good Mercato if Morata stays or a terrible one if he leaves. Him leaving could hurt us in our advancement in champions league prominence

25+30=55M Im not sure I rate Morata that high... He isnt exactly a top goalscorer even if he clearly is a top player!
As for Cavani yes I would take him as I can see him giving us things that Morata cant in terms of goals and we will be much more dangerous with him on our side (yes I know he isnt at Morata`s age but given a good price it will be great to have him)
Batshuayi - 30M I think I am more willing to take the chance on him rather than pay double for Morata.. (both are young and talented and I must admit I saw something in this Batshuayi guy which made me rate him very high)

Can we just sign Biglia and Vazquez. In my opinion we could skip these Pjanic/Gomes rumors this year. I wouldn't be disappointed with the former two either :snoop:
Oh you mean settle for players that can fill our team but not provide any sort of upgrade? I rather we sign no one than Biglia who I think is probably the most overrated player in Serie A and would probably skip on Vazquez as well unless he could come for 15M or less which wont happen

How about selling Zaza to recoup 30m, that is reinvested in Morata, and then spending another 10m on Lapadula as backup? Keeps the wages clean and settles the attack in the most unintrusive way than selling Morata would involve.

My previous post was a bit tongue in cheek but I would prefer us signing the realistic targets straight away whoever they may be.

I don't know how Biglia is overrated when very few actually rate him highly if anything he is terribly underrated. Quite easily the most important player in his current team and a starter in the Argentina national team.

bit of a fantasy rumor but i can fap to this :tuttosport:

there were rumors before that Conte wants Asa. It looks reasonable though, Chelsea doesn't need Cuadrado as much as they need a strong MF as backup. The question is Asa still able to play

I think that would be the best solution possible if we intend to keep Morata.

Straight swap sounds like bit of a fantasy to me.

Conte would be doing us a massive favor if he takes Asamoah off us tho

He can start for whoever he wants but he still is overrated... WHY? Because he isnt that good... He isnt a great dribbler nor a scorer, passer not that speedy... What is he? ok nothing more
He is the most important guy in Lazio? Big deal... its not as Lazio are filled with stars... Lazio has a very talented but way far and inconsistent from reaching his potential F.Anderson, they have Candreva who is good but nothing special and there is Biglia who is the same as Candreva
If you talk about Argentina they have great players in their team but Biglia isnt one of them...

How about doing what you said but instead reinvesting them in Morata adding them to our midfield/playmaker position and actually make us stronger..
What I`m saying is 40M can get you a certain playmaker 60M can get you that same playmaker+a young wonderkid or a more valued and better playmaker or if you want to stay on the attack that 20M difference between Zaza and Lapadula can also be used to get Cavani and then we have a player that will probably get us 15 more goals a season...
Honestly I wouldnt be upset if we do what you said as well as I do rate Morata as a great player (But I do acknowledge there are equally good players and better ones)

Your post just makes my case even stronger because it again shows how people underestimate the guy. He is the closest player to Marchisio in terms of playing style and ability there is in Serie A and saying he is not a good passer just shows your lack of knowledge about the player. Football is not all about scoring or dribbling you need to have players who are sound defensively, pass the ball effectively and are composed on the ball. One thing that people also seem to forget is the vocal part of the game which is really important and Biglia is clerly a leader on the pitch.

I can understand the fact that some people don't rate these kind of players but preaching about it like the absolute truth in my opinion shows the lack of understanding for different roles in a football team.
