You're exaggerating again. We did have quality alternatives against Bayern. They were already on the pitch. Marchisio, Dybala, Chiello were all out injured. Mandzu was first game back from injury, and basically not ready to play. We had 4 of our best players injured, and this depth you say we don't have, showed very well in outplaying Bayern for the last 30 minutes of the first game, and the first 60 minutes of the 2nd game.

That's depth. Calling it anything else is supremely retarded. We also had a bunch of our "depth" injured as well in Pereyra, Lemina, Asamoah, etc.

If Bayern had Lewandowski, Muller, Vidal out injured, we would have crushed them.

We also scored 5 goals in the 180 minutes, to Bayern's 4 goals. So in actuality, in terms of legit goals scored, we should have progressed.

Bayern won in the end, because Evra had a complete brainfart with 1 minute left. And we didn't have depth for our depth. It's not our depth that was the problem, something went badly wrong with our physical preparation this year, and we had far too many injuries. Either that or we were massively unlucky with regards to injuries. But neither of these things are "depth" problems. And don't say these players are injury prone. The only player on this team that could be called injury prone throughout his career is Khedira. Asamoah was robust like a tank before the last 18 months, so was Pereyra before this season, so was Chiello before this season and the end of last.
For this reason i wouldnt mind at all if we had the exact same starting 11 next year, aside from some new youth talents

Going to US > playing for shitty Milan imo
I read a few posts briefly when i browsed this forum for a moment at work, and noticed someone talking about "going to US would significantly enhance his celebrity status".

I agree. He'll go to us and be better then all the european legends playing there combined. He'll tear up the league, amaze the americans, remain zlatan and become an insane star. Especially if they read on how his youth went.
He is THE guy amerians will love

Its absolutely the right thing to do

He'll connect with the US audience easily just for his charisma alone let alone for his footballing abilities.

I dont count pereyra and asamoah as quality depth, because the reality is that right now they are a question mark, not exactly reliable players. I dont count on them.

"We shoudl have progressed". well we didnt because of minor details. But if we were a little better, we would have gone thru. The fact that we failed because our own mistakes remains and you can sugar coat it all what u want.

What really fuked us was the first half of the first game, because we didnt believed we were on par with them... but after 2 slaps in te face we were like "oh it seems we are on par, lets try to win"...but the damage was done already. This kind of mentality is what separates us from the CL title.
Mistakes like Sevilla should not happen to a top tier team like us, specially after beating Mcity, who was our toughest rival in the group. Not taking anythitng from Sevilla, but it was in our hands, not theirs.

Our starters are fine, we could be better with a prolific prima punta of CL caliber, but its ok, we are fine. The thing is that apart from our starters, our bench is so-so (specially our midfield), even without injuries.

Exactly. Its the perfect package.

He's 34. Still worldclass/topclass. But no big team equal to his level will take him because of that age combined with his wages.

He has the charisma, the story, the trophee's. Other legends there have some of that too. But he is so much better then them currently, because he's not fading/decaying/slowing down. He's still playing in every team he'd want.
His insane performance compared to the others will combine brilliantly with that charisma and everything else.

In before he'll get a movie within 3 years time, seriously

Sugar coat it? How is having a legit goal disallowed sugarcoating it? I'm confused. We scored 5 goals in 180 minutes, they scored 4. That's fact. THat's not sugarcoating anything.

And stop being absurd. We had 4 non-starters on the pitch against Bayern in the second game and still managed to dominate them for the first 60+ minutes.

Our depth is just fine. We got fucked by injuries this year. It's not our depth, it's our training regimen, or something of that sort. Having 50+ injuries this year is absurd.

Calling Pereyra poor depth because he's dealt with injuries for the first time in his career this year is beyond silly.

Our bench is so-so? You are ridiculous. 40% of our outfield players in the second leg against Bayern were bench players. If they were just
"so-so" we would have been destroyed. Rugani, Hernanes, Alex Sandro, Morata are all bench/rotation options for us that started that match.

Our mentality was fine after the first 45 minutes of the first match. Of course that was always going to be a possibility considering how much change this squad underwent in the summer. What's important is that we overcame that and absolutely destroyed Bayern for the next 90 minutes of the tie. 5-0 if not for the linesman being retarded. We burnt out in the last 30 minutes, and Allegri made a poor decision in subbing on an unfit looking Mandzu. But we easily played toe-to-toe with Bayern with several of our best players out.

Your posts are absurd. There is nothing that "separates us"... Teams lose games. And it's the little details that pretty much always cause it in terms of close games. Hence the reason Barca and Bayern lost to Atletico this year. Hence the reason we lost to Bayern this year, Barca last year. Hence the reason we beat Real Madrid last year. And so on. This is something all teams at the top are susceptible to, except in the very rare seasons where there is an all destroying team, but even in years like all-conquering 2012-13 Bayern, they took Extra time in the CL final to beat Dortmund. Same deal with Real Madrid needing a 95th minute goal to get to extra time against Atletico in the final 2014.

You are talking to a man that wants us to be a worse team than Bayern for some reason. Many members on this forum do. Truth is if you compare both rosters we are every bit as strong. And it's ridiculous to claim the things he does, when even our coach and directors are saying we are among the very top teams in the world. Some 'fans' on this forum are utter morons.

It's as if some of them desperately want to support the underdog. Well, we're Juventus. We're never the underdog.

going to the us means the player lacks some ambition to play in the best leagues. otherwise, zlatan made the right choice if he ends up there. he'll make the perfect franchise player for the league.

Except winning CL,he's mostly done it all and won a lot of trophies. How can you accuse him of lacking ambition at 34/soon to be 35 ?
Its not just about playing football these days.Beckham moved to the US pretty early as well and now he's a bona fide superstar in the US.Its not only made him a bigger celebrity but he's also milking a lot of money in the process just by being in the spotlight in the US.

they scored 3 actually, their 1st goal in Turin was offside

Getting Mirante would be smart because he is home grown but why would Bologna want to lose their gk and why would he want to sit on the bench?
why did Neto want to sit on the bench? we have 12342364563 GKs on loan, im sure we can give them one in exchange. or they simply sign Marchetti or some other random dude for free

yeah

Beckham trew his football career away far, far to early. He never became a football legend while having absolutely the talent. he's that celebrity. The guy from the shaving and underwear commercials.

Zlatan had a long career and was at the very top level of football untill 34. Who the hell is blaming him
