Even without the own goal he was poor.
He's a strange one in that he does do some good, mainly when defending. I'm not sure he will ever have quality on the ball to be a starter here, we need more than just a DM. If you aren't good on the ball you need to bring something else to help the attack e.g. Matuidi's movement in closing compensate for his lack of ball playing, he has yet to show what else he can bring.
What was almost as bad as the OG was when he lost the ball under no danger on the edge of our box in the first half.
