no, just check any financial statement (and in that, an income statement) of the club. fyi, it's on the 17th page in the last report. or check page 24 + pages 56-57 while you're at it.

or just trust this guy:
You're right, transfer fee/value and depreciation cost and doesn't include salary.

But I think the 16m will go on other expenses.

He's far from Vidal. Vidal pretty much was already performing at WC level, scored 10 or 11 goals for Leverkusen, won balls, dictated play and was a complete player.

Can is decent, but you'll be disappointed if you think we're signing a Vidal.
Like half of that goals was fron penalty spot. Not taking anything from Arturo but he wasnt WC yet.

Someone playing at that level for a year or playing for Leverkusen can't be considered WC, but he was already playing at that top level.

It wasn't like we signed a Can level player (who isn't Vidal level good and will never be that good, there's simply no comparison) who bloomed with us. He was great already.

I think Can is underrated here by many, and he still has lots of room to grow into a top class player, but comparisons to Vidal are pretty silly. He has nowhere near the engine of Vidal. Not really a similar player at all.
