05/12/2004. Emerson's future seems most likely to be with the bianconeri shirt next season as Real Madrid have apparently pulled out of the race for the Brazilian midfielder according to the Spanish media.

This would indicate that Juve are close to clinching Emerson for an expected 15 million Euros deal which could be confirmed in the coming days.

The only other club that can challenge the bianconeri for Emerson's signature is Inter, however Juventus seem to have a good advantage in the negotiations...
