Which they allways excuse with the "in respect for the fans i wont go to another Serie A team" bullshit!, just let him choose ****ty Real. We have what we need already !

Who is that? Tachi,Appiah?

I think that Emerson will not join Real because onley one reason....They dont need him . What they need is a DM warrior....like Makelele. Thats why they went for Dacourt instead Emerson. They need a player that will take a ball away and give it to Zidane,Figo,Beckham, stand in front of defence and keep his mouth shut.

Emerson is a defensive midfield warrior.dacourt's not as physical or combative as the mercurial brazilian, and if anything emerson does resemble makelele a little.both are rocks in midfield and pack alot of power and punch to the midfield while providing a great long range shot in attack.

No....Emerson is a DM playmaker. In your case....Maresca is DM warrior too.
If Emerson is DM warrior....there would be no need for Dacourt(you could throw in some fantasista instead of him). Same goes for Viera....another DM(G.Silva) is also nessecary for supporting defence due to Viera attacking mind.

Maresca does lack some of emerson's qualities.strength and combativeness are two of those.yes maresca is a bit of a DM playmaker but emerson can take care of the defense more and is a defensively dominant player while enzo works better going forward all the time.this is not to say that emerson doesn't attack, but that he does it less.

Excuse me, but were have i said that Real dont need him??, they do need him, but Juve have Appiah and Tacchinardi and Brighi on that position, say whatever you want, but remember that Emerson and Davids didnt start as world class players the time they arrived at Roma and Juve. Lets give Appiah a chance!!

If Appiah showed the slightest bit of potential I would be all for giving him a chance.

He has been simply awful this season (along with other Juve players admittedly) and even if he plays 'out of his skin' in the future, he will never be Juve quality.

We need world class defensive midfielders..NOW. We cannot afford to wait and give Appiah a chance. Personally, I don't think Appiah will ever be any good, I may be wrong, but we can't risk another season with Appiah in the team!

Not the smartest thing to say since you cant know that!
Well you seem to say he will be great in the future, how do you know that?! Hmm, that doesn't seem very smart of you.:fero:

So you can say he be'll good in the future - which you don't know, and I'm not 'smart' for saying I don't think he'll ever be good enough. That is a slightly hypocritical attitude!

We are all giving opinions here, IMO Appiah will never be good enough for a quality Juve side.

I'm fed up of the Appiah argument.

The sooner Juve buys someone like Emerson, the sooner Juve will offload Appiah. I hope it's soon.

At least i have Juve with me, why do you think they bought him?, because he can be good in the future!, you cant say he never will be Juve quality, because he is young and will improve. Maybe i cant say that either as you say, but at least it is more realistic than your pessimistic thinking about him.

How can you say that u wanna offload Appiah after one season? Not just one season either, this season. Really, give Appiah and Legro a chance. I'm not saying that they'll definitely become world-class players, but I can assure you that they won't be as bad as they were this season,

Latest rumour is that Emerson would stay in Rome for his last year of contract.

As for offloading Appiah, won't happen since Juve still owes Parma €6 millions (75% of total fee). And when saying he was crap this season we have to remember e.g. Thuram and Nedved were no success in their first season.

Rumour indeed. Roma need to sell, I don't think there's any two ways about it

Buffon wasn't anything special either

i don't think that moggi will let maresca go to rome.

imo moggi will 90% refuse cash+player for emerson deal, and roma will have nothing to do just to accept just cash for emerson, if they don't want to be next fiorentina.

so you love juve just for maresca?

players come and go, juve stays forever :thumb:
Why is it so hard for a lot of people around here, to also read my posts after i said i'd support Roma.

Jezus.:groan:.

I agree Legro needs another chance, in my view I think he has the quality to perhaps succeed.

I'm not saying the team needs to be cleared out after this one poor season, as I have stated before, I want these players to perform well in the future, but with players who have world class ability (and hence should be at Juve), no matter how bad the team around them is, you can see some spark of their quality, no matter how small. Just something that will suggest they have the potential to be good.

I haven't seen anything like this from Appiah, there has been nothing to suggest he'll become good - let alone great. The fact that he has been in the starting 11 for Juve this season means he has to be good enough now. I cannot stand another season of watching him and Tacchi embarrass themselves and Juve with their poor passing and overall play.

But as a loyal Juve supporter, I will stand it - lets face it, unless I get Moggi's job, there's nothing I can do to stop it anyway.
