As often happens in summer internationals, it helps that he wasn't playing a gazillion minutes during the club season and ridden like one of Lapo Elkann's cheap tranny whores. He had something left in the tank.
Players playing for their place at the World Cup are also more likely to be motivated for an end-of-season kickabout than the fifteen or so players already guaranteed to be there.

Eh, these guys are professionals playing for their countries for all the world to see. Not sure motivation or energy would come into question for any of them.

This dude.
The only thing that separates him of being world class is that he has the IQ of a chiken in the enemy goal area... but i have to admit that his technique goes according to his physique and he is very combative.

Definitly his role is where he was played today, and Conte should take note of this and harbor him there for those games that asamoah is not cutting it.. or even used as starter when we need more offensive pressure..

Because somehow, he knows how to do the "little annoying bug" role when he wants.
