Naturally wasn't great at getting forward, but worked his ass off, constantly showed for the ball, and proved to be a very useful release valve for his teammates when they were under pressure. Love seeing this guy live the dream.

I still don't get why people use commas instead of periods to denote decimals! Ffs I thought Giaccherini ran 12000kms! :D
I feel ya, buddy. Although I didn't actually think he'd ran 12,000 KM. :p

Lay off him rus, I think you have to give credit to Spain's movement added to the fact that Giach has been rarely used as a left wing back.

:sergio: He don't even look at fabregas, he is lookin' at the ball, that's the problem, he should mark fabregas in that moment, he shouldn't watch on the ball
There is much more that he did right than wrong throughout the game, playing against Spain it was obvious they were going to be a huge goal threat with darting runs. Therefore we had to make the most of our own chances, these are more key in my view.

Im not discussing his whole game I'm talkin' about Spaniards goal that's it! Like i've said - it was pretty decent debut by him, right after the ToTo goal he should have been replaced with Balzaretti

If he did that, our while defensive line would be in shambles. Just accept the fact that it was a great, well worked goal by Spain and stop trying to blame anyone for it. Nothing good ever comes out of it. NOTHING!
Everyteam when somebody is scoring it's somebody's mistake , except long range 10km goals

Maybe that could've been the case, but in any such case I think Chiellini was drawn on the goal a bit too easily, leaving Giach with everything to do. Though, it's nothing to lose sleep over, the defence played the majority of the game fantastically. Standing toe to toe with Spain is a huge achievement.

No one leaves Giach! NO ONE he was 1on1 with fabregas but instead of marking him he was lookin' at spaniard who was with the ball, that's it, hate it or love it

Look at that area him when he is drawn, Marchisio ave up a bit too easily at the start of the move also.
Why are you so insistent on this anyway?
