It makes sense to bring in a reserve left winger, who will not get to play much, only when our starting left winger is injured/suspended. Someone already used to the top flight, who is at least competent in his position. Versatility is also useful, as pepe is hardly a brillian tbackup for krasic...as for pasquato, if he can go somewhere else in the top flight and play as a starter, get 30+ games in a season, it will aid his development better than playing a handful of games at Juve. christian is at an age where he needs to be playing, week in, week out. Makes even more sense if we have offloaded martinez...

I expect us to sign another LW plus a CB in the coming week.
