Still don't have my list, too may to mention for me, but have you ever heard Bette Midler singing: When a man loves a woman? What a performance. The best IMO :D

Ok, after short moment of surprise ;) about Elvis:
I've wrtiten my fav song before, so maybe about another one:
Are you lonesome tonight.
In early 70's Elvis gave series of concerts in Los Angeles. On one of them, he was singing that song and he was laughing. Until today I have no idea why or what was so funny, but that was the best performance of that song IMO. He was singing and lauging.
And every time I hear this song, I always laugh :)

btw: curious choice your fav songs

Band Aid - Do they know it's Christmas
Now my turn ;) :D

First of all: Alanah Miles "Black velvet"
Alice Cooper: "Poison"
Robin Back "First time"
Starship: "Nothing gonna stop us now"
Foreigner: "I wanna know what love is"

And songs: U2, Sting, Tina Turner and too many to mention here :D

But, I love singing duets, so 2 of them were really great:
Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes: "I've had the time of my life'
Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes (again ;)): "Up where we belong"
