After fucking Nani, Rbiery, Bastos, Vargas, this. I can't believe we didn't play it safe and just buy Vargas. We have no time for Elia to find his mental balance and perform. We needed a leader on the pitch like Vargas, not a fucking retarded school kid. Very disappointing transfer.

As much as I want to see Vargas at juve (And believe me, I do), his lack of consistently cutting in to the center of the pitch and using his right foot will prevent him from coming

I think the main problem is a mixture of over-expectation and poor work by Marotta. We could have bought a title wining set of players with the money we have spent so far, we would however, have gotten no 'WC' players like Kun, we'd have had to rely on sales to cover every other position on the pitch due to the wage pressure, because we'd have had to have matched City's wage offer.

I'll welcome Elia here with open arms because I think he can shine, Nani was and is a pipe-dream. I trust conte's mentality and I also trust that he won't buy players unsuitable for that mentality.

True that, instead of some morons here claiming he is a piece of shit ect, he would be a huge upgrade at what we have right now and with the guidance of Conte, he will shine!
he ain't a piece of shit but you guys overrate him...better than all our actual lws...too bad we dreamed about nani/bastos/bale/even perotti

I hope his inflexibility and rigidness doesn't come back to haunt us :S

Do you rate him more than Affelay, Pat?
Different players bro, while Affelay has more passing skills and can shoot from almost every direction and can play at many positions, CM, Dmf, AM and LW, has great speed, great technique and is mentally very strong

Elia is faster then him, has more technique, can create many changes for himself and his team mates but needs to get the confidence of the coach, so he needs to stable his mentality.

In short :D at LW i rate Elia more then Ibi yes!

It's always like that though, but the hate Elia receives is rather extreme really. The same people who say he's absolute garbage are fans of Krasic or say Pasquato is quite a bit better than him. I doubt Elia will be less effective than Krasic if he arrives. He's no top player, but he's not that bad either.
