yeah that speed and dribbling served us well with krasic, right ? speed and dribbling are of no use if you have terrible decision making...
i could understand if we were talking about the balotelli here, but elia is a mentally ill lazy street kid with not even half the quality/talent balotelli offers. totally not worth the gamble for us right now

+ He's actually a very good passer. Sprints then "passes" the ball into the box really well.

- If he's coming for 10m, then logically we should go for Vargas or Bastos.
- Thinks he's a rapper. Pretty much translates into bad attitude these days unfortunately, now he's intentionally playing badly for Hamburg.

I get Barcelona not wanting to let go of players that suit their style of play and since its a long season and they are pretty much shoe ins to go deep into every one of there cups this season they need back ups but Barca went into every single final last season and pretty much rarely used Afellay now that they purchased Sanchez who plays out on the wing and Cesc who plays in the middle but has iniesta to push out on the wing when needed so all in all I dont see Afellay getting more then 5-10min every other game or so maybe more if Barca rack up the scoring on most of their games. Logical sense Afellay should come to us on loan. He is pretty much going to play 90minutes all season and who knows if we make champions league he might decide to stay he fits in Contes plans and Juve cant go anywhere but up so whether its actually Barca playing hard ball or Afellay not wanting to leave its a waste of a 25 year old who should be playing 90minutes a game since hes actually quite a good player. It just makes total sense for this move to happen it just depends if Afellay enjoys sitting on the bench and collecting metals and/or if Barca pull a Real Madrid and let talent waist on the bench for their own personal gain.
