Possibly. I think the reason Marrotta is so keen to take Lugano on a free and or Alex on a loan, is because he's trying to fund a big money LW move. Conjecture, but I wouldn't say its impossible, we might be bringing in a more high profile winger. Having said that, I'd be happy with Vargas.
