Dribbling means the ability to beat your man. Whether you kick it past him, use tricks, use close ball control it doesn't matter. Bale can beat his man better than most can. The guy scores goals too, he's one of the best wingers in the world without a doubt. If Tottenham were ready to sell him, clubs would fucking Que up to get him.

dribbling is having close ball control and being able to go past players with the ball at your feet being able to change the balls directions quickly when players try to tackle the ball away from you.

playing the ball past a player and running past it is what krasic does most and you see how well that worked at the end of last season...
it does not work at all if you play on a small pitch or the defense is packed while dribbling will enable to even skip between to defenders
