To be fair i'd say 80% of the people i've spoken to made fun of Nani a few years ago because he was good at dribbling with no end product..not saying Elia will reach his level yet but its possible if he's under the right coaching

Nani is in the perfect environment to flourish, it has to be said. That's not to say he definitely would but he got there eventually. I don't think Elia playing like Nani in his first season would be given much time in Juve. I know he was younger but Nani had 3 pretty average seasons for Man Utd's level, you could see the talent but his decision making was quite awful. Elia will have to have at least a good season like nearly all of our players. We've got another new team and we aren't in the position that Man Utd were to carry players.

The prevailing climate of pessimism here is a good thing at this stage, there will be a fair few pleasant surprises and your joy will be even greater.

If you don't want to hold out any hope for a good season, go support Barca.

I've always liked him since his Twente days, I watched him live against City a few years back and he destroyed Richards. If he gets his confidence up, he'll destroy many defenders in Serie A.
then i hope elia will not come to us (again :p)... what would be a league without defenders ? i can not allow someone to destroy every defender... the league will find it too hard to cope with that and we (the whole serie a) would lose many points on the uefa ranking while playing in european competitions if the teams had to play without defenders because they elia did destroy them all !

... and then a wake up out of your day dream and am pretty calm, because i am pretty sure even the hamburg defenders he plays against in training have not the slightest fear of him, because there is just no endproduct.

we all know these guys that look good when you give them a ball and they play for themselves but when they stand on the pitch in a competitive game they do fuck all.

but i guess your "he will destroy many defenders" is more like how giovinco destroyed chelsea in that past champions league match or how balotelli destroyed his opponents in the latest italian international game, right ? going past a man here and there and endresult: 0 goals, 0 assists... but hell got they destroyed

Its cause right after Davids arrived he broke his leg, everyone thought his career was over...6 months later we snapped him up.
Did not know that. Finally osmeone who responds with some decency on this forum

We were the best team in the world. The most attractive or one of the most attractive teams in the world. Real were the only ones after Cristiano Ronaldo, Ozil, Barca were the only ones after Fabregas. Doesn't make the players bad.

We bought him for £5.3 million. That was 3 times less than the world record transfer at the time or something around 25-30 million euro in today's football. "Very very low" indeed.

It was half season when we bought him. Noone even expected that he'll change clubs in December.

Accept and obey.
Two words for you!!

Ignore me and suck it!!
