Considering we have Pepe, Martinez and Lanzafame, I don't see why people point that out. All players can play on both sides so we need a left winger as much as need right winger.
Well, Pepe's natural position is RW, Martinez might be able to play both sides and Lanzafame is very unproven, we still have Camo as RW so I'd go for the Left footed Elia.

I think Elia is very good and I think he'd play nicely here buuuut....I don't know...to me it seems that Krasic is more suited for Serie A. He's stronger and more dynamic.
Krasic all the way, the guy is 100% committed to joining us already. Not to mention he has a good work rate and is more powerful than Elia, it's about time we also had a threat from outside the box again.
I doubt there are more than 5 people here who have seen both these players in more than 3 matches.
I'm not one of those 5. I've seen enough of Krasic and I only watched the Dutch come in as a sub for Holland. Making the Dutch squad should imply on its own that he's a good player but since my eyes still haven't seen that, I just went with the one I know.

Elia since Lanza is a good player and he is a right winger
If you take the high work rate from Pepe he has got nothing
As for Matrinez I have yet to see him play (I even don`t know if he is a left or right winger)
