Ah.. so it's stupid because you can't participate in it?

In that case, Free Speech and Democracy are stupid..
Relax, I was only joking.

And Free Speech is overrated; people use it to avoid freedom of thought. Only dumb people use free speech: wise people never do. Pity.

As for democracy... we're still ruled by bastards. We just get to pick which bastards we want :D

Not really... Not a great deal of power in it; there's 16 million other people and they never seem to agree with me. Assholes
:sigh: .. you're missing the point, mate..

It's the principality of the matter..

In theory, yes. But the real power of democracy, imo, doesn't lie in the right to vote, it lies in the right to protest. Voting always leads to compromise as coalitions have to be formed etc.

Protesting, on the other hand, is a very pure form of democracy. When the leaders agree to do something and thousands of people stand up and shout: "Oh no you don't!", that's when democracy counts.

Assalamualaikum, eid mubarak all! :) I just returned from the mosque after performing the eid prayers, the Imam gave a very serious khutbah, but I was quite sleepy because I had only 4 hours of sleep thanks to bloody Champions League.

Ramadhan has passed us by, it seemed like such a short time. Victory is here, and lets indulge in this wonderful day! (But we musnt be too wasteful)

Allahuakbar allahuakbar allahuakbar, lailahaillahu allahuakbar, allahuakbar walillahil hamd
