Juventus held their second training session of the day as they aim to enter Sunday’s Berlusconi Trophy clash with Milan in top condition.
Following the four days off granted to the side after their exploits in Beijing, preparations have now shifted into top gear as Antonio Conte readies his men for next Saturday’s championship opener against Parma.
This afternoon’s session saw the Bianconeri contest a practice match before being put through a series of tough athletic drills. These involved sprints over varying distances, while the players’ recovery time was also shortened as the level of intensity increased.
The team will sustain two further training sessions tomorrow - at 10.30am and 3pm – ahead of their departure for Milan.
