FFP. Would this be something we get caught with our pants down over?
Something that Agnelli would never countenance in a million years.

If Juventus are to negotiate with PSG directors in good faith about obtaining Cavani, it must be at the expense of sacrificing one of our key players in exchange, as a prudential means of balancing the books. Probably Paul Pogba.

I'm quite confident that this is behind the discussions. PSG will play hardball (obviously) for the best possible deal and when the discussions end, I suspect that no deal will happen. Certainly not one based on the kind of eye watering figures being speculated between pages 63 and 68 of this thread.

I'm pretty sure that this exercise is being undertaken now to discover what sort of finance might be left to complete the much fancied bid for Darmian. A deal which I am pretty sure we will complete b4 August.

empty them here:

I typed that so that I could get a -rep from you. I'm curious as to whether you actually carry out your threats of -reps, or if it is all just talk. I feel as if my time here would not come full circle unless I get one from you.

I mean, I got one from Cronios, but what else is new.

I'm not getting my hopes up about this one at all, just doesn't seem like a Juve kind of deal. It does remind me of the offer we made for Van Persie, and a little like Agüero before that, but the fee and salary looks far too big.
But we were without CL for years at that point. And we certainly didn't make 100m and the CL final during those times either. So we might actually be seeing a Juve that actually isn't afraid or cautious on the mercato anymore?

I survived Jovetic every year since 2008.

I think I can handle it if Cavani doesn't end up here.
That true.

I think that we already know that most likely , negotiations will fall hard when the time comes topt alk with the sheiks.. just like it happened with florentino and higuain.

This tim we are more mature :spliff:

Put it this way. The more successful Juve are on the pitch and in revenue, the more far reaching the term "opportunity signing" becomes

The net spend might be as high as €80m after sales,.There are circa six players whose accumulated nett proceeds would swell the coffers by quite a tidy sum.

BTW, what was the additional amount of cash that we will receive from reaching the CL final as opposed losing the semi final?

Winner will get €10.5m in prize money

Runner-up will get €6.5m in prize money.

From next season, the prize money distribution is going to get a good increase.

Actually, I thought it was a bit more than that.

That said I still see three major acquisitions this Summer. Dybala, Darmian and one other. Pereyra already factored in.
Thats just prize money.

Italian teams will get a healthy increase from the CL market pool too.Likely a 15-20m increase.
