If he were played as the focal point of an attack in a top 8 european side he would soon be considered one of the best in the world. He's perfect for this Juve. Hopefully he becomes available at which time we should go all in for this man.
He is indeed perfect fit for us. Lets be honest...since Zidane´s departure..this team has not been characterized by having a technical midfield. We have been all muscle since his departure until now that we have some technical ability in Pogba and Marchisio on his peak. Pirlo is technical but he is just too old.

Cavani has all the physical qualities to help the whole team just like Tevez does. As you can see in games, we even struggle to make the simple passes, but we are good enought in physical team play. This is what we need.

Having enought quality on mid and the effectiveness of those 2 in front...we will reach new heights.Im not donwrating morata, but lets be honest..he is still kinda raw and we cannot use him and Tevez in every game, every comp.

Cavani will be very hard/nearly impossible for us to sign due to wages, transfer fee, competition from other teams etc.

However, it makes me laugh to see how many people underrate him. If we were to sign Cavani and Darmian while keeping Tevez this summer our team would be ridiculously competitive on all fronts. Tevez-Cavani up front would be an absolute nightmare for any team to play against. Work rate out of this world from both. Flair, creativity, speed and finishing from Tevez. Strength, aerial presence/ability, hold-up play, technical ability from Cavani. Not to mention we still should have Morata for years to come. Replace Pirlo with Veratti if it becomes possible and our team could be quite incredible for a good few years.
Man,, why not more? :D
We keep POGBA and somehow get Cavani and Darmian and keep Tevez:D
LoL if Marotta pulls this ill nurse his balls for the rest of my life, every night.
Verrati would be lovely... but Verrati do not want to return to italy as he see it as a step back from what i have heard from him.
But yes... Cavani

People saying they don't want Cavani because they draw Pogba into the equation need to realize there is no link between the two. Cavani CAN come here without using losing Pogba. In fact, Pogba being tied to Cavani coming is a link not made by GDM or any other mercato media. It is purely a goal.com, reddit and "what if" scenario.

In that light, Cavani would be massive to come here. Cavani/Tevez leading the front line would be an amazing partnership, with Morata off the bench and in various matches as a starter to rest either of the two.

And Lewandowski is not better than Cavani. It's not even close.
This.
Its true that PSG will not let go a player we are interested without them taking a shot at forcing our hand with Pogba. That will not happen and they will pounce or break our balls. But what we have in our favor is that Cavani will most likely want to go out...and if we can somehow get a good economical agreement with him, and offer him the chance to be the focal oiint of our attack with Tevez...im pretty pretty sure he will say "why not?".

I dont know our real budget for htis mercato... and i know that this guy will cost a lot... but is really worth a shot to try and convince him.

Too many people have a world class image of Napoli's Cavani in their head. Go on the PSG board's and see how much they want Cavani to leave. The guy went like 3 months without scoring in the league. Guy can't deliver day in and out for a top team.
When you are forced to feed Ibra and play a game that you are ot acustomed to, i think is not insane to think you will not bang the numbers people expect from him. PSG fans expect him to score as a CF being a winger. Thats stupid. And yes i know that there are prolific wingers, but he is NOT a winger, and he should not be babysitting Ibra.

Yeah but Madrid fans also want Bale to $#@! off in to a dark alley way and crawl up & die they mostly hate his guts. Yet he'd be a massive improvement for most other teams in the World including us. PSG were spoiled watching a prime Ibrahimovic upfront the first couple of seasons, and then they look at Cavani's price tag and think he should be doing similarly well.

He's been a let down at PSG, but despite playing out of position most of the time and playing 2nd fiddle to Ibra he's still putting up good numbers and there's not a doubt in my mind that Cavani would come here and stake a claim on the #9 spot with ease.
Exactly. is not that his numbers are Amauri like or something. Again, he is being played wide and forced to support Ibra ffs.

I never said he was an assist machine, he's not remotely creative. And I couldn't care less if my free scoring #9 is creative or not. That's why I said he's not a Tevez replacement, but an upgrade on our #9 position. As far as replacing Tevez goes, it's either Dybala or nothing right now because we can't afford somebody like Aguero.

MOst importantly...at least we have Tevez... but in the CF department what we have?. Morata? Goof joke. He is not yet there and also like i said before...we cannot hope that those 2 guys will carry us on all fronts. Thats madness. Llorente was tried and tested...and we should do better than him..and Matri is nonimprtant. We are very thin of forwards....and im talking about competitive ones.

Anyways.... the olan here is to somehow... i dont know how dont ask me...ghet Cavani without having to sacrifice the core of the team. When the time comes for Tevzez to leave...we will have to adjust. We got very lucky in first place with Tevez because no one expected him to be THIS good. We knew he had it in him...but he is reaching the numbers of del piero and Trez on a single season. Thats insane.

I dont think we will get that lucky again to find another worhty 10...so most likely we will have to adapt.

SKY :Juve proposed a 5-year contract for Cavani ,But still didn't reach agreement on the salary but juve wont give up "

- - - Updated - - -

Juve met Cavani agent & Cavani gave full availability to Juve,Cavani is fascinated by juve project, yet they have to agree on the salary

We can't get Cavani to agree and by the time we do we need to find a way to get PSG to agree. Mission impossible

How much is he making at PSG??

Just imagine Cavani comes to us this year and after Tevez departures to Argentina next year we get Dybala for free. :D

I really hope we don't go for Cavani, PSG's games against Barcelona proved that he doesn't play well when the pressure is on and can only do it when the whole team is playing well and not relying on him. We would be much better off investing in Dybala.
By that logic, why go for Dybala if he couldn't even beat us?

I just.....why?

We are selling Pogba
No sarcasm.

This transfer would only be possible if we're willing to sit with PSG and discuss a deal for Pogba otherwise we have very little chance. Its not like we have a good relationship with them either.

I told Moggi we're getting Cavani.

I guess he got sources. GDM said he'd love to come here but still distant for the wages, No mention of what PSG want. :sigh:

Everything points against this dream transfer but am quietly hoping that we somehow pull it off. Who would PSG buy to consider Cavani surplus?

Cavani has 1 assist in the league, Lichtsteiner 4, Higuain 7, Tevez 7, Benzema 10, Suarez 15. Cavani plays in the weakest out of all the leagues. Even if you believe that playing in the wing (which he only plays a part of the time) is harming his goals. What's harming his assists?

Tevez is a good striker for the team not just because of goal scoring but the fact that he can make something out of nothing. Cavani is a physical player, not a creative one.

This is his worst season for assists ever. He's had more than 5 assists every other year for the last 5 years. But, let's only count his worst year. Makes a lot of sense. :sergio:

People suggesting Higuain over Cavani. That's so incredibly :sergio:
