he`s a left back/defender, he plays for Wolfsburg, his contract expires in june 2012, so if we want to sign him in the summer, it wont be very expensive. Is he any good or do we really need him, I dont know, personally I dont rate Wolfsburg defence very much, I watched a few Wolfsburg games this season, I am not impressed by Schafer (btw neither impressed by Kjaer or Barzagli...)

Dzeko is not the only Wolfsburg star currently being linked with a high-profile switch to Juventus, with Marcel Schafer also reported to be attracting interest from Italy.

The Germany international has been with the Wolves since 2007, but has been backed to make an impact in Serie A should he decide to take on a new challenge.

"Marcel Schafer to Juve? Why not," said Dzeko. "He's a great player who has done really well in recent seasons.

"I'd be happy for him because he would be playing for a prestigious club that many other players would like to play for."
