We didn't exactly give up an asset. We got 15 M Euros for Diego's transfer. That isn't exactly peanuts. I'm not really sure we could have sold him to any other team for a lot more. But having said that, he was probably our best player last year. To allow Wolfsburg to buy him when there was a good chance his price tag would have gone very high had we given him another year at Juve does say something.

Let's just hope that our wishful thinking isn't too far from the truth.
