DP is on his last breath, I agree. IQ as a supersub, that's it. Looks like we have Lanzafame back as backup. We lose Trez, sell Amauri and buy a good sidekick for Dzeko.

Not too similar, but they all are a typical of target man striker. Actually it will be a threat for opponent having 2 big striker in the box as long as there is much support from midfield.. Is there any striker partnership like Dzeko - Amauri which was success in the past?

I really like strikers in a team to be 2 different type of players like del-treze and del-pippo..one with the skills and the other with the finish, now if we manage to get dzeko, then a perfect pairing other than del piero would be someone like van persie (only if he was not injury prone)or lavezzi/aguero type of player..of course we have giovinco..is dzeko moving a real possibility,cos i have not heard any rumors of teams wanting Amauri/Iaquinta..so the chance of dzeko moving is pretty small i believe..

I would be freaking excited to use Gio as the SS with Dzeko. Edin is a complete goal scoring machine, we have no one capable of doing what he can do. I'm sorry, no matter who we have as wingers will not make Amauri or IQ that much more effective. You can put crosses on a silver platter but can't make a striker that can't put the ball on target score.

We need a complete striker. Gio would take over the Diego role for the creativity and spark.

Van Persie - Amauri would be incredible.The best second striker and the best target man.
