If we traded two players for Dezko with cash as well then we could afford his wages, but they are too high. 86500 a week for a player that has done nothing of note in his career?

That's why I don't want to spend money on him purely because he's scored a fair few goals. I've only seen him a handful of times and although he is very good he's not worth an obscene ammount of money. We're talking Aguero/Higuain territory with this boy if the hype translates into bidding. Anybody that would but Dzeko up there with those two players needs to have thier heads examined.
He may well be WC someday soon fair enough, but paying WC money for him before he's actually WC is bad business and at Juve it has to be about vale for money.
Let's not get in coeffiecents again, consider the highly competitive mutli-title challenging Spanish leauge is by far better than serie A by their logic.
Dzeko hasn't done anything of note, he's not a WC player yet.
Trezeguet's on 4.5 a season, and in all likelihood he's leaving, so of course the club can match those wages if they choose to do so. It's within the budget (not to mention all the dead weight that's hopefully shed this summer). Whether they decide to offer the same pay a club legend earns weekly to someone who isn't indisputably world class...who's to say? Unfortunately, that's the nature of the market now, and numbers like this don't go very far at all anymore.
