Although I'd be more then happy if we ended up signing Dzeko, there's that small voice in my head that will say ''Dzeko wasn't good enough for Manchester City, so he was sold to Juventus'', which is depressing in a way
Welcome to the new reality of football. Hopefully, in a couple of years, the roles will be reversed

How was Dzeko bad for Manchester City? He scored more than RVP if you look at his goals/minutes ratio!

He scored incredibly important goals for City, including the historic QPR comeback for the title.

He always made the best out of his time, and in a formation and style that doesn't suit him!

He would absolutely destroy the league with us.

Not saying he was bad, but he's 4th choice in the pecking order at City and therefore possibly surplus to requirements in their eyes. I guess I'm just old fashioned and the thought of having to make do with buying a player who one and a half years ago chose a a club with nothing to show for itself but money over Juventus with all it's history and stature, just sickens me a little.

CDS(tomorrow) - The deal for Dzeko will close in days.

Get the ambulance ready for Cam :p

I cannot see City selling though, especially with Aguero injured. That would only leave Balotelli and Tevez.

City won't sell unless they are signing someone else, so they won't just be left with the two strikers.

Aguero isn't out that long, and with the money from the sale of Dzeko (As if they really need it), they can buy basically anyone they want outside of Messi and CR7.

They have 2 matches in the span of the next 9 days, then they have two weeks off. They can survive without Aguero and Dzeko against Liverpool and QPR.
