So? Our needs right now are more important than those in 2 years.
:agree:

However, right now I am doubtful we will end up with anybody. I think our squad is 'complete' at least until winter mercato. Maybe one or two more players might leave but that's about it. There are now less than 2 weeks until the window closes shut and all our so called 'targets' are being shot down and taken off the market or sold to other teams. I don't necessarily have a problem with this per se as we are pretty far in front of most in the league (I think the garbage men could be the 2nd biggest contenders for the scudetto) but when Agnelli and Marotta go around saying that our target is to win the CL yet they aren't prepared to spend more than €15m-20m on a top striker if reports are to be believed then I think they can be called hypocritical for lack of a better word. They can't seriously expect to win the CL due to other teams' failures and luck. Having a water-tight defense without a 'top player' upfront will only get you so far against top teams. Even if Chelsea were unlikely winners last season they still had Drogba who was a beast upfront in the CL and Torres' return to form towards the end. We really will only have Mirko to be relied upon in the CL seeing as he is a big game player but most likely he will still be a little inconsistent and isn't clinical enough anyway.

I think we'll get Llorente and try a final push on Armero, Perreira or Peluso in the final days of the mercato.

Plus I think we'll get rid of some deadwood like Ziegler, Pazienza, etc.

At one point RVP was looking pretty likely due to reports but I don't think Llorente is any closer now than he was then. Their guy said they want the buy out clause (~€35m) so mid-high 20s will be necessary to even tempt them imo. Losing Javi Martinez to Bayern won't help either.

but so did balotelli and aguero, neither of them with the goal per minute average of dzeko?
Goal ratio is a pointless discussion honestly..Papiss Cisse has a better goal scoring ratio than him despite having played more games.
Especially in this case we are considering goal scoring ratio of a benchwarmer which doesnt mean much

As if i dont understand what it means..It really doesnt hold that much of a significance to be honest ,one has played each and every game for his club and the other has spent most of his time on the bench and the difference isnt even drastic ,its miniscule.

Still an accomplishment to not have consistent game time yet get good numbers in a tough league.
You have to ask yourself in what circumstances.Would be interesting to know how many of those goals he has scored as a starter and as a sub like for instance when City are leading like 2-0 ,3-0 he comes on and cements the lead.(He scored a brace against United when the game was already dead and buried with United being a man down)..Just an example.
