Because he has done a really good job and just because you deem the WC striker a top priority the board and coach know what can fit ,financially and in the scheme of Conte they will do what is best for JUVENTUS. Not just a big name and big money for no reason

Its moreso the financial ability and terms given by Conte on what players fit the scenario. The problem is that many here believed every name the media through at them without logically looking at their fitting into those parameters

Though you cant excuse Marotta if he ends up splashing 18m on someone like Mandzukic for example or overpaying for Destro(in the region of 15m) when players like Giroud(highly rated striker) were available at just around the same price.

Though you cant excuse Marotta if he ends up slashing 18m on someone like Mandzukic for example or overpaying for Destro(in the region of 15m) when players like Giroud(highly rated striker) were available at just around the same price.

That's speculative because you do not know Contes opinion on that forward and if he fits Contes mold. So in the end yea you can excuse him. It's not just his decision

Just because we might be capable of signing one doesn't mean that everything will just come together this summer. It is entirely possible that there just isn't a top FW available right now who would be affordable and willing to join Juventus.

How much Padoin, Esti, Elia, Krasic, Isla, Giovino are eating from our wage budget, factor that with a 5 mil we were willin to offer to the WC striker and we could compete with any team, our problem is our stocking useless player who aren't need when we should go and sign a star who could give us 5 time the production of those players

Damiao is the starting CF in the brazil NT, Giroud best striker in France, and Lewa the best player in Bundesliga. They aren't in any way comparable to Destro who's just a prospect right now.
