- Often Lazy and lumbering
- Often appears to have minimal skill / touch

However on his day(s)...

+ Comes alive in the box (i.e. 20+ goals a season)
+ Can play the target man as his touch is often not as bad as it appears (i.e good touch for a big man...when he can be bothered)
+ Deceptive pace (when he can be bothered and with enough of a headstart)
+ Complete strikers...left / right / head...all deadly

If we can get a cheaky deal from $ity i think he would be a great #9 for us.

He is a good player, but making him out to be our "marquee" or "star" signing is ridiculous. He doesn't possess that star potential. He needs someone of a higher caliber to support/complement him. I'd even argue that the signing of Vucininc last summer is a bigger signing than Dzeko, if it goes down this summer.

Look I'll agree on some things, Edin really needs someone to complement and support him, but he would have that in Juventus. Remember how many chances have we created this past season, and how many of those were wasted because Matri/Q/Boriello/Vucinic are not such good finishers? Dzeko would bag twice as more than Matri, of course, he would need continuity.

And as I've stated earlier Dzeko alone would be good, not great but good, if we bought Dzeko and Jovetic/Suarez to complement him, now that would be a sick attack.

Right. Had nothing to do with not being able to sign him because we signed Krasic thus taking the EU spot. Nothing to do with that at all.
