I dont mind Dzeko,but if there is another option in getting someone like Suarez or another great SS and Giroud, then definitely choose the Giroud option..

People forget to understand that we will be freeing up a lot of wages this summer as well:

Krasic, Del Piero, possible one of Matri/Quag, we might not buy Borriello, Amauri is gone, IQ as well.

Aside from the saved wages, we will be making money in sales of: Melo, Krasic, Matri maybe or even Quag, Esti might not stay either. We will probably sell the other half of Ekdal, sell Martinez, Grosso will leave, Pazienza, Elia, Manniger,

We could make minimum of 30m with sales. Not sure how much on wages we would be saving but surely enough to land us 2 top players that take us up a level or two.

If we can get Dzeko on a discount for lets say 20-25m, that would easily leave us with enough money to buy lets say Suarez or Jovetic & bring Giovinco back home.

It makes so much more sense to try and get Dzeko rather than spend the majority of our transfer kitty on Cavani/Higuain and try to find those annoying last minute freebies or bosmans (cough*LucaToni*cough)

Dzeko will guarantee a lot of goals...partner that guy with Gio/Mirko on the left and Suarez/Jovetic on the right and we are set to go.

Dzeko is lightyears a head of any striker we have currently. I am not saying he is as good as Higuain/Cavani, for example, but I have my opinions.
