how so? is he faster than Matri? doubt it. Can he create for himself? Nope. Is he better in the air than Matri? Doubt it. His main qualities aren't that much better than Matri's, bottom line.

I could live with him if we got Suarez/Jojo/Lavezzi to go alongside him, but Dzeko on his own is such a cop out and an absolute failure on our part.

No

Not very, but more than Matri. He has a much better shot than Matri as well.

Definitely

You're forgetting technique, Dzeko's is vastly superior to Matri. Matri's first touch is terrible, which is why he's bad at linking up with other players. Dzeko is good in that regard.

Overall, Dzeko is a much better striker than Matri.

would you want him leading our line next season?
If he's our sole signing in attack? No.

I think the idea of getting Dzeko is that he'd cost much less than other options (Cavani, Higuain) as we could bag him for 20-25 million euros, as long as he takes a pay cut. That money should be used for a RW.

I think we can realistically hope for something like this:

Vucinic-Dzeko-Ramirez

I wouldn't say Dzeko's first touch is good, that's one of the main reason why he couldn't adapt in EPL together with City having great options on the bench.

In my view thats a very average trio up front (but I agree it's very realistic), we aren't gonna get very far in the CL with them 3, swap Gaston with JoJo and then we're talking.

It isn't average, I'd say it's from good to very good. We should then get a SS next year to replace Mirko and then we could challenge for the CL.

Ramirez is already good and he's gonna become great.

Dzeko (20-25 million euros) and Ramirez (20 million euros) makes much more sense than paying 40-45 million euros for either Cavani or Higuain.

One season and 16 goals later, at better than 0.33 goals a game while mostly coming off the bench and having a very interrupted season, and people don't think Dzeko is so good anymore. SMH.

Comparing him to Matri. Lawdamercy!

who knows how long it's going to take Gaston to settle with us? and he's never tasted CL football so god knows how he will take to it, least Jojo and Suarez has CL experience. Gaston no doubt will be a star in a year or two, why not buy JoJo/Lavezzi now and get Gaston in summer 2013?

Jojo is better as a SS (Vucinic's spot) and Lavezzi will be too expensive.

I'd rather have an upgrade for Pepe than one for Vucinic to be honest.

Ideally we'd sign someone like Nani or Di Maria but that just won't happen.

if money is the most important thing for a player, i dont want him at juve. there needs to be a functioning wagestructure at the club. the best and most proven players should earn the most. If not that would hurt the club in the long run.

your solution to sign troublemakers or idiots (balotelli) is not the juve way.
Bayern has a functioning wage structure and their players are earning more.

Edin is 26, Matri 27...find me a highlight video of Matri anywhere that trumps this:

If Man City asked for more than 10 mil, no thanks. I like Immobile/Destro much better. Dzeko really sucks.
This guy has to be a double account out to ruffle my feathers.

Come out. Who is this?

This is why I find you irresistable. Yes. All of it.

SMH...
