I don't want him for two reasons:

1. He rejected Juve in January
2. All bosnians friends I have who are not Juve fan would be Juve fans, and I know it's annoying. First they were Wolsburg fans, then City, City, now they will become Juve fans and tell me how Selfish marchisio is or stuff like that.

Well, it was only a matter of time. Even though I much prefer Higuain ( Sorry Salv, too lazy for the proper i :D ) or Cavani, Dzeko would be a massive upgrade over what we have and would probably come cheaper. I can't remember how much City payed for him... Anyone?

If he comes cheaper I guess we'll have bigger chances of another attacker, which is needed aswell. Surely Dzeko would do fine with the already proposed line-ups.. Vuci-Dzeko-Jovetic for example.

He didn't reject Juve. We have been posting the news articles from that time with his statements countless times. He wanted to go to Juventus, but Wolfsburg held on and kept waiting for City's mega bid.

That's what I've been saying. :agree:

This deal makes complete sense ergo > the other two names mentioned.

Wait a minute.

So Dzeko can be as good as Trezeguet, but Higuain obviously much better?

So Higuain is obviously a better striker now than Trezeguet ever was? Are you f*cking sh*tting me?
Can be refers to the potential, meaning that Higuain goes beyond Trezes and Dzekos, just finishing.
No one is Treze yet, Treze has proved his value over time, those two didnt, yet.
I just believe that as a striker Higuain has the ability to go further, because he has better techical abilities, it doesnt mean that he already is though, or that he will be...
He can be a new Tevez, Tevez had the ability to go past Treze, but he didnt...

Even if he accepted the contract from Juve he couldn't have signed for the club.
You've probably already given your opinion on this guy somewhere before, but... How would you feel about Edin Dzeko, oh mighty Salva? :D

And dude, I love and have always loved your posts, you make a lot of sense, all of the time. Usually I just facepalm certain levels of stupidity, but now you usually just clean up the mess. Top poster. Just wanted to throw that out there.

True Dzeko did not rejected Juve and our future was not looking all that bright then, he is a talented an ambitious player.
ManCity was the new Chelsea, we kept ranking 7th... and yet, if we could match City's offer, he could be ours.

Let's not forget that the Non-EU rule was "conveniently" changed from 2 players to 1 during that time, and Krasic was already purchased by then

City paid €37m for him. City are not going to want to lose money on him especially with their spending + FFP. Maybe Giovinco + €25m

Dzeko and Higuain better than Trezeguet

Dzeko is also one of the least flashiest players I've seen, he nevers scores spectacular or amazing goals.

No joking, but a friend of mine we studied together, he is from Sarajevo and played football with Dzeko and Ibisevic, when they were young. He still plays but not for a club, they are only facebook friends but I don't think they are close anymore.
His name is Adan Hodzic @Badass Vidal; add him on facebook and ask him about a potential move to Juve.

dzeko would be good for us. his goalscoring record from wolfsburg is great, his tall and good with headers. imo he would fit perfect

I still like Dzeko. He never fitted Manchester City to start with (even if he's doing decent), and I'm confident he would recover his form here.

He would be the main man which would give him more confidence, perhaps. I also think he would fit our squad quite nicely.

Honestly, I can't see Napoli selling Cavani to us for cheap, they will be stingy as fuck. Higuain would be a great buy, but Mourinho reassuring him of a more active role and having an inflated price, also seems unlikely.

Dzeko would be the best option to go for. He's a goal scorer, and that is what we need. Plain and simple. I've been wanting him at Juve ever since we were rumoured to get him last season but us getting Krasic stopped that :(
