once we get in the next round we need to get him...he is the only realistic option we've got for a good quality striker...anything our strikers can do, he can do better..well..except quags golasos

Dzeko today

Couldnt even keep the ball for 5 seconds ,terrible with his linkup play and passing in general..

And if you saw our game yesterday with Vuci and Quags movement and linkup which bamboozled and confused the Chelsea defense quite often ,you would know that if we need an upgrade over our current attack we definitely need a technical striker somebody who's good in overall play too and possesses the aformentioned qualities.

Not saying we need a fantasy forward but i believe we can do far better than Dzeko in our current system and style of play.

Yeah Dzeko was awful yesterday but it's not like any of their players shined well except Silva I guess. Mancini has world class forwards but he's a dumbfuck himself so he can't use any of them properly. I hope he stays as their boss cuz with him thery're not going to win anything in Europe.

Dzeko under Conte would be a completely different player, although I agree he's in a bad shape right now. All he shows is some killer instinct we lack sometimes.

On the other hand I'm very happy we have Quag scoring quite regularly. Vucinic is our starter and most important asset in attack while Giovinco seems to be a great sub. Our attack needs improvement but it's not as bad as it was last season.

Tbh, I think city have the worst tactics of any of the big European clubs, it's just painful to watch them raping that poor ball.

They play so slow and without idea that it's painful to watch. Mancini wants to play like Barcelona without actually knowing how. They pass the ball around in midfield without idea, then they give it to Silva, then he runs forward a bit, then he turns around and passes the ball back... and in the end nothing happens... They have the worst, slowest build-up of any of the big teams and the only reason they are first in the premiership is because if their players individual quality. Mancini is a shit coach, and I thought that even when he was at inter.

So it's no surprise that dzeko plays poorly there. There was no cross almost the whole game, no through ball, no ball over the top of the defence... and how could there be when they are so sloooooooooooow. Why play him on the wings? It's not his job to be there ffs!!!

The reason why he's good as a sub is because when he comes on they are usually chasing a goal and have to abandon their usual idiotic tactics and just hoof the ball up without Silva or nasri raping it, and that suits Dzeko. It's a sad state when you pay better when you don't have any tactics than when you do.

Dzeko would be a completely different player in Juve, with pirlos through balls and crosses from the sides.

Manchester city is just awful.
