I'm not insisting on it. I'm just saying it could potentially work. Why do you have to be so old fashioned in your approach to football? Is Ronaldo a CF? Is Rooney a true CF? Barcelona don't really play with a defined CF, and yet all 3 teams seem to do well, and bang in the goals. Jovetic and Vucinic would ooze creativity, create tons of opportunities, and I'm sure with Vucinic being deployed in a more advanced role, he'd score more goals. Moreover, we can have Matri or Pazzini coming off the bench to complement our attack, if they are needed. I feel that particularly in the CL, where teams are more technical, and the pace of the game is faster, a technical duo of Vucinic and Jovetic, and even someone like Giovinco, will cause the opponents far more problems than a traditional CF, unless we are talking about someone like Cavani or Higuain.

Jovetic has 9 goals in 20 appearances for his country, while Vucinic has 12 in 29.

Yes they will create chances but juventus dont need chances they need a finisher, they more then enough chances. If we are going to have vucinic-jovetic/giovinco in the same line up i think u would have to play a 3 man frontline of vucinic-matti-giovinco/jovetic. Also with that being said Pirlo is juventus target man. If you have a starting line up with 3 play makers who do they target? The midfielders? You can keep saying that you want jovetic but we dont need him. If we get jovetic then the smartest thig would be to keep matri. Also vucinic isnt exactly the best finisher. He can score but he should not be the target man

I wouldn't agree with that, but I would certainly listen to arguments that Jovetic just wouldn't provide enough of an improvement to make it worth shelling out 25m+ on him.
Why dont you agree with it? also if we are going to spend 30m for another ss we should just buy another felipe melo, amauri or diego

We should just get Jovetic. No one is in for him, the risk of missing out on him is minimal, and he will be world class within a year or two. If City don't intend to sell Dzeko, and RVP isn't going anywhere, we shouldn't delay and procrastinate when getting Jovetic. Jovetic and Pazzini is better than not getting anyone at all, and being stuck with our rather average attack.
If after his CL season no one was after him I'm sure he'll be avail in another year

So in all honesty, you guys think dzeko has a bigger chance of joining milan or us? He's mentioned milan in a couple recent interviews
