Ederson targeted by Juve Friday 30 March, 2007

Midfielder Honorato Ederson of Nice has claimed that he is being closely monitored by Italian giants Juventus.
The 21-year-old is a reported target for several European clubs, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Lyon, with the latter having seemingly already made an £8.5m offer to the French club.
“I know that Juve scouts have come to see me often lately, including [transfer consultant] Roberto Bettega,” confirmed Ederson to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.
“In France I am wanted by Lyon. Inter? They had an option on me when I played in Brazil, but it is no longer valid.”
The South American would seemingly be keen on a switch having admitted in the past that he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his fellow countryman Kaka, who is now at Milan.
The Serie B leaders are also allegedly interested in Emerse Faè of Nantes, who comes with a recommendation from Juve boss Didier Deschamps.
The midfielder, who was born in France but chose to represent the Ivory Coast, has played in 28 Ligue 1 matches this season, scoring four goals.
Faè, who some consider the new Claude Makelele, is valued at £2.8m and his departure seems likely, as the French club are facing financial difficulties and fighting to avoid relegation.
