Why do Juve go so public when they express an interest in players?

I'd rather they just go out and seal business and then tell the media afterwards.
Publicizing interest in players serves to alert other clubs like Arsenal and the like.

To be honest we don't. There is a lot a papertalk, but nothing more than that so far. The "real" targets we have usually remain quiet until they are signed - anyone remember reading anything about the Carini-Cannavaro swap deal on TribalFootball, no? Thought not! Maybe things are different now that pu$$y Secco is running the show, but I doubt it. Its like all ths Gerrard/Lampard talk, you can't honestly believe it, but its probably hiding another couple of targets like Sissoko etc.

We have been rumoured to so many these days, kind of makes it less creditable every time.

nonetheless, he looks good. just about any young player who is an attacking midfielder with lots of silky skills would be welcomed. i guess the advantage of this player is that he already plays in Europe.

Hell no,I watched Ederson few times, last time against Bordoaux I think. Like he didnt existed on the pitch.

People see he's brasilian, people see one or two tricks, one freekick and one lucky long range missle and reactions are: OH YEAH,BRASILIAN,CREATIVITY,LETS PAIR HIM WITH EMERSON AND THAT WILL WORK GREAT.... no it wont. He is Nice's bad excuse for a playmaker IMO. Nice scores less than a goal per game....where is this so-called creativity?

And bout Luka Modric.....as I saw he's been mentioned in this.
Just one story from my adventures with Dinamo Zagreb:
During the CL qualif.game at emirates stadium last summer,I was kicked out from the game trying to match up the flare( :disagree: ) and I finished in one pub where older Arse firm crew watched the game. I drunked my beer and stood quiet and one bald tatooed gorilla just asked me: "Eh bhoy, who'z that no10 in your team?" I politely answered Modric+s name and he commented: "Great playa" :)

it was an ex Arsenal player who asked?

agree on the few tricks comments, one good game seems to merit so much in peoples eyes, whereas 20 plus consistent good games gets less credit.

Why should we take risks now? We can take risks once we're in a good position in Serie A.

You know, since we've had Ronaldo and then Ronaldinho... the "next Ronaldinho" -- by informal Portuguese grammatical rules -- now will have to be named Ronalditinho. :lol2:

Oh, where's Zé T when I need someone else in on a Portuguese joke...
