its still in its experimental stages but it will be around soon. but look at this:
Gmail is a free, search-based webmail service that includes 1,000 megabytes (1 gigabyte) of storage.

When Gmail displays an email, it automatically shows all the replies to that email as well, so users can view a message in the context of a conversation.

Gmail uses Google search technology to automatically organize and find messages.

And there are no pop-ups or banner ads in Gmail, just relevant text ads and links to related pages.

The Report Spam link in Gmail is a way for users to help with this effort. It removes spam from the inbox and sends valuable data to the Gmail team working on spam blocking.

did the post stutter?
:howler:

yeah.. i've heard about it for quite some time now..
personally, i can't wait. i've signed up with them to get updates and stuff.

anyhow.. as long as their spam detectors are more powerful than the rest's, then i think it'll be a huge success.

...........

PS. I've already dumped hotmail 4 years ago! :p I prefer Yahoo, or even mail.com.
Juventuz mail isn't too bad either (6mb of storage like the old yahoo :thumb: )

I dunno, I guess I'm complacent because I've never had a problem with it :)

I'll figure out what I'll do when it happens ;)

Note to Self: Never hire Graham as a manager if you want a well-oiled and robust establishment. :p

Advice to Graham: put that on your resume and apply for a job at Microsoft :howler:

 they'd hire me straightaway :D

Then again, you have the same problems with any e-mail account. Unless you've got mirrors set up, there'll always be a risk of not being able to access your mail. Hotmail's gone down more often than my ISP :)

i dont use hotmail for my email ;)

I use yahoo which has been very reliable, great looking, and simple. for larger attachments, i forward it to my ISP mail.

Fair enough, but isn't it a bit annoying to access your webmail all the time?
not really... i donto see why.. it's more secure IMO since the shit isn't DLed to my pc right away.
