Through out history, too many to mention...
Maybe in the 30's WC in Urugway (or whenever-whatever
), when the hosts Played Yugoslavia. home team was attacking. There was a shot on the goal that passed just next to the pole. The security guy that was standing behind the goal kicked the ball back, one of the home-team players got the ball, kicked it into the net. The ref showed to the center of the field & allowed a goal to stand. That was equalising goal. Yu players obviously jumped on him and there were red cards and so on....Hosts won 4-1 and went on to final (or semi-final), cant recall.
In the last WC, american player, taking out his thingy & pissing whilye "heating up" takes the award for the dumb-est moment
