Scoring two and 1 one assist in 30 minutes didn't impress you? lol
He has been playing like actual, physical garbage for four years. I won’t change my opinion of him because of a couple of goals and I doubt he’ll start scoring at an acceptable rate. Wouldn’t give him the 59th chance. Bench all the way + subbed in as a last solution or to let the others rest.

You compared him with Openda so you could only take the last two games into consideration.

None of that matters now. The only thing that matters now is how he performs this season.

My opinion (the lowest possible ever) about Vlahovic is absolute, not relative to another player whatsoever. I compared him to Openda because i have positive feelings about the latter, but that’s a general impression.

A few things have to be considered here

1. He usually always plays a great spell at the start of each season

2. He is playing for a new contract with JJ or trying to other teams.

3. Its a world cup year

4. Finally playing under a manager who doesn't cripple his players with boring anti football tactics

All things considered he would be a decent backup player if he would accept anything less than 5m a year. He isn't worth a penny more.

1. He usually always plays a great spell at the start of each season - Probably coincidental.
2. He is playing for a new contract with JJ or trying to other teams. - Yes he is but its not like he didnt care before. He was trying his best and was shit, this time he is trying his best and it succeeds. The effort is the same but the quality is different.
3. Maybe
4. Tudor seems great for him this far. Hope he continues

Hoep you're right. I'm backing this opinion until it doesn't come true.

It's Rabiot situation all over again.
Maybe, but does he have a mom that resembles this?

If he continues to be in this kind of scoring form, at least I know he'll be out of Inda's wage budget

Lewandowski is 37. Could easily secure a move to Barca and play alongside Yamal and Rafinha.

Totally different player. Vlaho thrives in running into spaces while Lewandowski is often their target man to hold up the ball and then invite the wingers into spaces. Dusan doesn't have the technique to do that. If anything, Vlahovic is more similar to Halland.

Just a remainder that he (but also we) had a similar great game last year vs Leipzig, but it didn't change anything, later on he was shit (hope this doesn't apply for the whole team). It's obvious he has quality, but he is unable to use it on regular basis, maybe he can learn to do that, maybe he can't.

Vlahovic has always been quality. Thats why he wa signed in first place. But terrorists like allegri and motta were holding him back.

Remember allegri played chiesa and yildiz as wingbacks.

Tudor sees Vlahovic as the star he is

Im not sure why we are ranting about Vlahovic when he got a start for two reasons:

1. 2 games off the bench resulting in 2 goals. Due for a start.

2. David lack of size meant struggled a little to impose himself physically when isolated and only served with long balls. And vs Inter we defended deep and tactically needed a more physical presence up top to occupy defenders attention a little.

Both reasons made sense to me.
He's a big game player. Even last year he was scoring in the bigger games.

His limitations with us have always come out in the games we're expected to blow the opposition away

The fan issue is there's people who'd rather see him continue to struggle rather than get back to top form
