Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus will propose the idea of a contract termination for Dusan Vlahovic when representatives from the club meet with his agent in the coming days.
Worst possible solution in my opinion, makes no sense why Juve would even entertain that idea… but seems like most of the media is again pushing this narrative since last night, at this stage i just hope it’s only one shitty journalist who put out the rumor and most of the others are just copying it and retweeting the bs news.

resolution makes some sense because vlahovic can ask for higher wages as a free agent and he wouldn't take a wage cut anyway. and on these wages, he's unsellable. in this case a minusvalenza is inevitable, at least it would be compensated with the wages we'd save. and amortization is a non cash expense, while wages obviously come with cash flow, so i'd take that on the final week of august as a worst case scenario

severance pay tho? gtfo. sit out the year on the stands before that

I think our best case scenario is to pay him a compensation that would cover the discrepancy between what the club that might be open to buying him now is willing to offer in terms of wages and what he would have earned here in this last year of contract, but i’d only consider this if the other club is actually paying us a transfer fee for him that would incentivize us to make a concession towards covering that difference in wages.

‼️ Juventus will proposes a termination of the contract to Dusan Vlahovic's agent when the parties meet in the coming days.

Juventus is proposing to terminate Vlahovic's contract, thereby avoiding payment of the €24m gross he would earn per season.

Via: Di Marzio

Can someone explain how will we avoid the payment?

2022: We sign a 22yo Serie A top scorer for €83m.
2025: Three years later we propose a contract termination 1 year before end of contract.

Is this the worst transfer of all time?

We're just cutting ties and letting him go as a free agent. Then we dont pay his wages and he's free to join Milan or whatever club he wants to as a free agent. It's a absolute disaster if true: he has a market value of €35m and is still only 25 years old. This is historical if true. A desparate move to avoid paying his €24m wages.

I think we are being too nice here. If Vlahovic is stubborn and wants to stay and collect his wages at all cost, we should just freeze him out and send him on holiday for the season. It will cost us all €24m but I wonder how he will react if we are serious about that outcome. I'm sure he will want to play football and move the fuck on.

This transfer is yet another example of why we should never spend this much money on a single player. Nobody is worth it. Just as Lamine Yamal isn't worth €200m for instance

If his market value is supposedly that low his wages can’t be the only thing keeping people away because that is a low value. I think the reality is no one wants to pay for this immature head case

Sure. You see, players who are under contract for another year are due what we call a salary. By terminating his contract now, we don't have to pay that salary.

And everyone knows that capital losses don't matter as long as you don't need to pay a large salary. So as long as we pay Vlahovic and his buddies less than 24M during the termination, we'll come out on top.

Thanks for following JJ.

Yet Milan with Max Allegri seems very interested in getting him. It would be criminal to terminate him just for Milan to get him on a free transfer with a much more adequate salary. As much as I had lost all faith in Moise Kean when we got rid of him, he instantly clicked in Fiorentina and they rate him at €50m by now. I don't want to see Vlahovic join MIlan and score tons of goals. Not that it's likely to happen with Allegri there but still. Let's not gift anything to our rivals any more than we already are when we spend big buying from within the league (Fiorentina, Atalanta etc)

All we know is that’s what the media says yet no official offers have been made

The Eden Hazard and Coutinho seems worse on paper. I don’t think when they were released the clubs also didn’t get a transfer fee.

fuck him!!

there is a reason why he was never a starter in the NT. Mitrovic before him!

there is a reason he lost his place here. He is so shit! he had so many chances to prove his worth but failed!

worst part is he dosent how any sense of how shit He is. He see himself as a top 5 striker. He is more a Besiktas level!

if I were him I would go to saudi. He Will never earn that money in europe, and he Will never be a starter at a top top Club.
Fuck off please!
