I would swap Vlahovic for 38 yrs old Dzeko immediately.

Matri was better and more useful player for us, and people compare him to Higuain…
Vlahovic is still levels below the likes of Iaquinta, Marco Di Vaio, Quagliarela, Matri, Miccoli and Zalayeta.

It's a disgrace to compare him to the likes of Higuain and even Luca Toni etc

He belongs in the same tier as Amauri, Bendtner, Andy Carroll and Bobby Zamora

Our top assistmen, in ALL COMPETITIONS, have 4 assists. For comparison, Inter's CB Bastoni has 5 assists. Back in the days, our least talented bench player (Padoin) had 4 assists-seasons.
This is such a pathetic stat that deserves nothing else but ridicule. Yet, I wonder what is the reason behind it? Is it because we don't have creative players, or does it have to do with the impotent striker? Probably both, but the striker is a huge reason, no doubt about it.
I want Dusan out. But our team is shit and there is no brain at all. Too many trees.

We spent 100mln on two chokers. And overall even more.

Just watch the amount of times Susan has lost the ball or missed an easy chance. We have food creative players but a donkey as a striker. It's definitely his fault.

probably the worst match he played recently, backed by the numbers:
    • 50% passing accuracy, only 10 passes attempted in 90 minutes, both are outrageously bad
    • 2/13 ground duels won, and he's a big guy ffs
    • 0/3 successful dribbles lol

the "assist" saved his day, and that even was a lucky incident followed by some yildiz brilliance. shocking game. needless to say, he should do more.

his wages are on the club, and it wasn't even this management that gave him an outrageous contract. i'm not even mad about it

but the performances, man. first it was the pubalgia. then it was the lack of 2nd option behind him. now he was rested for like 2 months after randy was signed, and vlahovic is still out of shape. what does this guy need to work on his first touch, not fall on the pitch after every touch, and win duels against defenders half of his size? these should be basic for any pro footballer, and that's my issue with him

He needs a dedicated attacking coach. We are seeing same effect with kolo and kean before .

And not just them. Well continue to see this issues if attacking coaching isn’t improved

with kean i kind of agree, he benefits of the different tactical approach, and also of the lower pressure/expectations. he also admittedly changed his attitude, he simply didn't try hard enough at jj

vlahovic though, it's a case of bad technique and bad attitude really. he has missed 20+ big chances during the last 2 seasons and counting. he has the chances, but he cannot convert them. an attacking coach would make a difference in what exactly? dusan would have better service so more chances to miss?

i remember when juventus signed zlatan and capello send him to practice shooting overtime. zlatan often mentions it in interviews, he is very grateful for the extra work that capello made him to do. vlahovic needs a similar treatment. remember when allegri practiced trick shots with him and macs had better shots? that's inexcusable for vlahovic. he should have had the drive to beat allegri. someone needs to slap him and kick his ass until he becomes a perfectionist like zlatan. unfortunately people's personality is 90% finished by the age of 4-5 so it's a very tough one so i'd move on

And with a coach vocally backing him and keeping him on for 90 minutes as well. He's clearly a confidence player but he doesn't have that excuse either for the weekend.

He'll be leaving in summer anyway so there isn't any long-term view on his performances. I reckon Tudor thinks that praising the shit out of him will get him scoring goals and maybe he's right but we don't really have time to find out.

The period he played at Fiorentina was a pure talent, perhaps due to the service he received from the players around him.
I think the service he got at Juve is comparable to at Fiorentina. The difference is the pressure he can't handle leading to basic errors. At Fiorentina, he was having fun scoring. At Juve, he has to perform and therefore his mind is disturbed by that.
