Very isolated in the first half, put in a good shift in the second.

Did well for his goal and you could see the benefit of getting other players in the box around him brings. It stretches teams and gives him more space. We need to do that more often.
I know all that counts is the ball going in, but he did head it straight at the keeper from 4 yards out with the goal gaping.

His touch was better today and he held the ball well at times when isolated. Should be a minimum expectation but occasionally he fails to do the basics.

I think it looks worse for him than it was. The angle was too tight to properly go across the goal and there wasn't a huge area for him to aim at if he went near post. He basically took the least risky option which was to get as much power as he could and head it down. It makes it very difficult for the keeper to save, especially when he did well to generate the power.

Quite the mature words, well said.

What struck me most about his performance tonight was how well he imposed himself physically and the way he outsmarted his markers on more than a few occasions, both he and the team needed this confidence boost.

We missed a CF very badly while he was out, astounding how much of a difference one player can have. I’ve always thought midfield is the most important position on the field, but after watching how useless we were in attack in those 3 games without a striker I’m ready to change my mind.

He’s not doing as much as he should based on potential and costs, but he’s clearly a very important player to this team. If we sell him, his replacement will be one of the most important decisions Guintoli will have to make in his career in Juve.

How is being able to do a trivela pass the same as start for Juve man? Ask almost anybody who's being playing football for years, they'll tell you it's not that difficult.
Reading comprehension here is at an all time low. I play football every week lmao doubt u can say the same. And yes I can do a trivela with both my left and right foot. What I said was its good to see him get involved in open play and the pass to conceicao was brilliant if it was Di Maria it woulda been a video snippet by now. Also go to the city forums they are literally crying about haaland not being able to dribble. Its about application in a game. Simple.

I dont know what yall get from devaluing our own players

Why aren't YOU starting for Juve then? Lol, i do play football every day for most of my life, didnt manage to play professionaly but thats besides the point. All i said was that any footballer can do that. That was all, I didnt even shit on Vlahovic or anybody else for that matter.

In the second half he did a Trivela pass to Conceicao. I wasnt aware he was capable of such. Need to see more of that in open play
You are literally saying you were not aware he can do that, you are the one thinking too little of our player, i'm the one who says he absolutely should be able to pull that off at this level.

Yes I wasn't aware he could APPLY that skill in an open game like that.

I'd love to be starting for Juve lmao in another life maybe but my point is being able to do something and applying it at a PROFESSIONAL level are not the same thing. Mandem posting photos of Chiellini as if he isnt one of the most talented CBs of the last 20 years.

Anyways heres a screen clip of the pass,
