We have to play perfect games to avoid the bullshit coming our way.
We have to play perfect games even the bullshit coming our way wont stain us. It is just an easy way to play Over 2.5 in over/under for Juventus game this season knowing we will score more than the opponent while FIGC give some free goal(s) to the opponent, time to get rich

that's impossible, yesterday's offside call was ridiculous, you can't avoid these. and they always find a way to swing 50-50 situations against jj. plus there's also the calls in inda's favor even if we miraculously manage to play perfect games

gravina must be replaced. nothing will change until he's in charge

That semi-auto offside AI thing that's implemented in England and Spain can't come soon enough.

I must be one of the few who thought he was poor.

He is still wasting too many chances.

The shot when he was one on one with the keeper was awful. Offside or not he didn't know. It was still a terrible effort.
I’m sure he knew he was offside, but still wanted to hit the net just for confidence and sadly failed at it.

He contributed a lot defensively and the press started with him. Sure that’s a low bar for a CF at a top club. His hold up play was very good, first touch looked decent and won quite a few aerial balls so I thought it was a decent show bar the two guilt edged chances he missed that gladly didn’t come to haunt us.

If he scored them I’m sure the critics would say he’s stat-padding against the bottom feeders as usual anyway.

Needs to vary his finishes in my opinion. He has the big side foot finish and the little dink and that’s it. He does the same dummy when the keeper or defender is set and everyone reads it now. Should watch tapes of Higuain on how to develop the early strike, lace finish, toe poke, slide through the keepers legs, round the keeper, confidently use both feet etc. if he wants to develop.

as far as i know that's what serie a has too

problem is that it's semi automatic only, so they have the option to manually select the right frame, and there's a margin of error. we discussed this already, iirc it can be ~20 cm which is a lot compared to yesterday's case, and one frame back and forth can make all the difference

I didn't know this. Then it has to become fully automated then. That thuram goal was disgusting .
Obvious offside .

Yes but we scored three in addition to that call and that's what we have to do. Get the result regardless of the calls. I know that at times the calls will frustrate the players but we should look beyond that.

Gravina, Tavecchio. They will come with another incompetent, ignorant loser.

lol that was laughably bad and looked like someone lacking confidence

You can look at it glass half empty or half full.

He had 5 or 6 great chances in the game and scored 0 goals. Although he did have one called back for a questionable offside that he wasnt involved in. He also did well on Weah's goal.

Some there was some good to take from it, and some that left you scratching your head thinking "here we go again."

At the end of the day, when you're a striker, it's a result oriented position. I think everyone would feel much better today if his goal counted. Instead, he somehow finished with 0 goals and that kind of stuff can get in a player's head.

It would really be nice for him to get one next game, just to take some pressure off him.

I have a theory why he is beast with Fiorentina and not with us besides of the pressure of the big club

My theory is the Role Model

In Fiorentina, everyone want to accept or not the first role model that come to their mind when they develop Vlahovic is the one and only Gabriel Batistuta. They nurture him to play like that kind of predatory striker, power shoot, try to finish every chance from every angle, and more or less he try to emulate that in his style of play

When he join us, his role model start to change over time to the one living super player in front of him. which is Cristiano Ronaldo
He started to try to run with the ball, curl the ball , he train that curler freekick ,he trying to be super precise in his shooting

But he is not that type of players, he loses on 1 vs 1, those precise shoot becoming a super highly precision to the crossbar and the woodwork
All of the thing that happen made him feel inferior and not playing up to the standard, this starting fuck his mind. This explain why in the start of his career with us he still have some of his old predatory instinct. But that eventually lost over time when he try to emulate Ronaldo style of play

If he choose someone like Trezeguet or even Higuain, he will learn more technique to elegantly put the ball in the back of the net (develop his killer instinct for the goal) . Or someone instruct him to follow the style of play of Trezeguat, he will be more complete then the Fio's Vlahovic

He needs to score 20+ goals now with all these new additions otherwise there is no hope for him

Make or break season for him
It is indeed.

I still think we’ll look to sell him next season. He earns way too much for the new sustainable Juventus project. He’d need to take a significant pay cut to stay and I just don’t see it.

I think also the complete lack of guidance or attacking strategy from Allegri held him back. Como was his best game in ages. He will do great this year, especially with a better squad and better manager.

He did score, it was stolen. And he kept working hard and didn't start snatching at half-chances. Last year he would have.

It absolutely is, and I've always been somebody speaking in defence of him. He needs a big year not just in general play but specifically in front of goal.

Ideally he would cut out the diving as well. Buy fouls absolutely, but don't chuck yourself on the floor. The refs hate us, and even the ones who don't are scared to be seen as part of the mythical pro-juve establishment.

You know what's going to happen? Our attack is now so dangerous and flexible that teams won't have the luxury of focusing on stifling Dusan to nullify us. He's not only going to benefit from having better players around him creating better chances, he's also going to have more room to operate as a result.

He's going to have the season of his life, and when Chelsea or whoever come calling he'll tell them to fuck off because we never wavered in our support of him through his awful luck the past two seasons.

This man is going to score the winning goal in our first champions league in 30 years and it's going to be fantastic.

I’m very optimistic aswel. Vlahovic scored in a team that did not create or had any decent attacking plan, so naturally he should flourish when he gets finally served with more chances.

I've read this post in my bedroom. I've read it in my living room. I've read it in my kitchen, my corridor, my källare, my toilet and in the showers.
I've printed it out on an A4, A3 and even on a banner.
I've sent a screenshot to all my contacts. I've gone around reciting it like a mantra.
I've contemplated opening social media accounts to propagate it. But that's where I draw the line.
I love you @Scottish but fuck you man! I say this lovingly, please take this post and shove it up your arse.
