No opinions are neutral though eh? Not even statbois can give a neutral analysis of a football player because the game is part art and subjective analysis is inevitable

I haven't watched a single game in like 2 yrs, but I'd bet this guy is crooked, they know it, and that's why they are willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of him - including at the expense of signing another possibly crooked player in Lukaku.

I'd say both the player entourage and the club are hiding something - they probably know this guy needs surgery or stg to try to get right. Playing with a troubling grouch should really limit the guy.

They also are probably desperate to improve the balance sheet - Vlahovic's installments + sallaries is probably the greatest annual cost on the club.

To top it all, he is coached by Allegri.

I say, do it then.

It doesn't seem likely surgery would fix his issues. He has been dealing with this for so long that they would have considered that. Personally I'd be hesitant to undergo any type of surgery anyway. It seems like pubalgia is usually something that will go away with conservative treatment, lifting, conditioning, etc.. but it's a matter of finding out what works for the particular individual. I'm convinced he'll heal from this sooner or later, but it's difficult to say when and I think they want to cash in.
