In hindsight, both Higuain and Ronaldo transfers were massive failures that crippled the club's finances. The terrorism that followed with Arthur, Ramsey, Rabiot is another thing, but dropping massive amounts of money on two old players started the whole downfall.

It's a good thing that the club has corrected this and looking at players with resale value but we should've have followed this policy ages ago.

We should've stuck with the Bayern model plan that we once had but some football terrorist was so enamored with Barca and galactico's that he managed to fully convince the owner into leading us to a completely different route, ultimately causing our downfall.
